The real shame is, that if the game that exists was bad, no one would still comment ITT, but because what does exist is good, people get upset at the astronomical loss of potential.
wym people still talk about and shit on superman n64, et for atari and many many other games if you want more recent ones concord, or veilguard
people talkin about shit doesnt make it good in anyones eyes unless youre blind
The reason for those being talked about is because those are a notable level of shit. In order:
-known for being one of, if not the, worst games made
-same reason but also attributed for the 1983 video game market crash
-original IP that had over $200m (theorized to be over $400m) burned, by copying several games that already came and went even when they did it better
-IP that had a following and was known for its rich storytelling, bastardized into a simple game with an over-simplified story that shat on the previously established lore and limited choice. Lost over $100m. Got a new word invented due to one of its characters: non-buynary.

Do you know about games like , , (which had an official re-release I never heard about), , and ? If you haven't, that kind of proves Trap's point. Even these games with varying levels of success, you didn't hear about because it wasn't notable enough. Let alone the ocean of porn flash games that were/are tossed out there for a quick coom and close.

The reason people give this game shit (read: criticism) is because simple things like a gallery could've been put in by now, the massive lack of news in-between the several month long small updates, and how little gets added when it DOES get an update. Which, now that I thought about it, makes me think that the reason the game doesn't have a gallery is because most people wouldn't "playtest" the game for free and give feedback on it if it did. :illuminati:

Havent played the game in a year or two and I've got a few questions since apparently there's been a combat rework:
1) What are the triangle symbols when you attack people as Whispy?
2) Is there any way to heal outside of the bar or vending machines? I get grabbed twice and my health is at half.
3) I remember there being ranged weapons. Are they still around and if so, how can i get them?
4) Enemies take like 3 stamina bars to kill. Is that normal?

So far even just trying to get through the first area is annoying as fuck because literally nothing is explained and it's not intuitive.

Yeah the lack of a tutorial really ain't helpful so i'll do my best to help

1) The triangle symbol basically means they are your target, they take a tad extra damage from heavy attacks if i recall the update correctly
2)You're supposed to get health back from killing enemies but the health gain has been somewhat nerfed so no, your best bet is vending machines and dodging attacks using your dash ability.
3) Yes ranged weapons still exist, you have the shotgun in the lab, the egg launcher in the bar through an interaction with the bird person while drunk status (drink the liquor at the bar once it costs 1000 but the egg launcher makes up for it) and the magic mines, this costs more though and is obtained through giving the goth girl at the bar two drinks which will allow you to do a boss fight against her.
4) Yes sadly, mix in heavy attacks when possible and dodge constantly while using the recharge stamina button to get stamina and charge the heavy hit meter, Use any extra money when possible to buy coffee at the vendor at the end of the hub on the right.

In essence, dodge whenever possible as grabs drain health tremendously and they are the only attack the enemy gives, upside is usually most grabs are telegraphed so you can react to most, the only few who have annoying attacks so far are the ghosts who only telegraph the tail motion, the imp who can stun lock you into oblivion, the portal maker who stun locks you into oblivion, and the fly who also only telegraphs his tail motion.

I highly recommend against relying on ranged weapons though as ammo drops are infrequent and buying ammo at vending machines eats into the coffee fund, if you get enough coffee you will end up slapping enemies in only a single stamina burst or less.

it's in the latest version but do you really want to do the fucking abdl level to get this scene?
That's not the abdl level though? Unless we're talking about a different scene, the one where Sam gets kidnapped, fucked and then forced to ride the pink-haired kidnapper is located in the restaurant area (or whatever the fuck is the area where you need to rescue the civilians is called), behind breakable boards.
