I mean the dev for some reason has a phobia when it comes to sharing news or anything. I feel bad for anyone putting money into this game considering the sheer silence they get.

I didn't say anything about it going under but it has been marked as abandoned previously due to lack of updates, this site marks it as abandoned if it does not update within a certain amount of time and it's already been almost 6 months since an update
Also as for the comments about lack of content it really does have barely any new stuff even counting the ABDL content it doesn't have all that much stuff in the amount of time between updates and the few that does seems to have diminished in quality sadly. I used to love the quality of the animations but they are also starting to get down a bit. But i hope the dev can work on that

Ohhhh yeah, that's normal, it's automatic by the forum's tagging system. That causes folks to automatically assume it won't be continued tho, then panic ensues.

It is not automatic, you'll find plenty of games lacking the flair. The rules around it are also more complex than "6 months after last update", taking into account usual schedules and information flow. If I remember correctly, the 6 month thing is about radio silence from the devs, otherwise it's a year.

Ohhh I see, I assumed it was automatic since I've been to other threads with some progress, but after quite some radio silence, it gets silently tagged as such. I assumed it was to streamline things and not keep an eye on updates throughout 1k+ projects. Noted.

Combat update is from before. By "combat these problems" he means Doggie is going to be working on a second project for awhile since he's appar4ently getting bored of making HHP.

Damn, even their self-awareness lags by months. If a single enemy update for this game every 6-7 months was their timeline when they weren't bored, I'm gonna guess this game is just straight up dead. That, or they got bored YEARS ago and, per the usual, decided to sit back and think on whether they actually were or were not bored for, say, 3 years before deciding "yeah, I'm bored".
Edit: on the topic of Doggie's Discord comment, I have to say it's hilarious that their choice of words was "things have been pretty quiet". By any functional human's standards, it's more than "a little quiet", but the real irony is that by DOGGIE'S standards it's actually fairly normal to have zero news/information for half a year at a time

My guess is, upon estimation since it's been 5 months: It will be updated around the cusp of 6 to 7 months timespan. Developer is probably using the "Last Updated" feature on F95Zone to gauge, space out, and update the release of this game. Which I must admit; is actually smart.

my guy everyone here complaining has a good reason to we have seen not one combat rebalance but 3 not only that are there is constant changes to the combat system we honestly been getting straight up no content for the main zones in fact I'm pretty sure doggie has been able to make many/huge additions, and the constant updates to the optional daycare zone along with 1 or 2 new enemy's which by the might i add isn't really that hard to code and just not having gallery for years despite many other games already having one by the the time they make a second or third area. point is not only do we know who is behind it we also know less effort is being put into making the game be an actual game and more about those fetish's. i been pirating their stuff because at this point its no longer worth the money if the dev isn't pushing out any more updates to the other zones and just caring for the most optional one in the game. which has gotten new art new sections new enemy's basically a revamp before any zone especially the first one which basically pales in comparison to the effort put into the optional zone. we aren't toxic we aren't horny we are just tired of the dev's complete utter laziness and lack of effort (unless its the fetish they enjoy)
and you wanna know something worse about this whole thing there is a fanf porn dev out there who made his game from just assets ,stolen assets, stolen coding, stolen music and maybe even more stolen stuff we don't know about (some of it did get changed when it was called out) just alone and they are arguably faster then doggiebones when it comes to updating and that's saying something considering most of grunt work is basically done for the enemies
My guy, even something as small as "I updated (x)'s code a bit, and made
more frames for [character]" posted weekly or even monthly would be far more than what's currently being done with dev announcements. And there have been a few new animations posted in-thread several pages back, but I think they were proper purged.I'm still suspicious that he actually belts out some animations in under a week with little effort but still stays quiet to keep the free money flow coming. GRANTED, he does still stick to releasing it for free after a small exclusivity gate. So I can't really fault him for that. This just happens to be a case of blaming the (for lack of a better word) financial punching bags instead of the dev with a known track record for this project.
