Damn, I was about to comment, I have never heard of those 2 things. It got me really lost lol

Dunno about editing but for your first question just keep the mc belly near full by having snu snu with the mobs you like and it'll slowly expand the max limit, the more runs you do without being defeated the more it increases, since it's the only permanent stat (currently I guess).

This makes me wish for a deeper progression system like most rogue likes/lites do, like going the furthest you can or completing a loop, getting resources then using it to buy/upgrade stuff to become stronger and do it all over again. Stuff like buying costumes/armor/cosmetics to unlock so you can find while exploring the levels, fiddling with base building perhaps (could recycle the room with the blacksmith for that), etc. But something like that would need a bigger development team and a lot more money to invest, so it's pretty unlikely for that to become reality.

Do you happen to know what the Water Vial does? You start all the runs with 1 or 2 of those (can't remember), but when used it just says "Refreshing", and that is it.

Normally I just sell it but from what I remember you can use it to protect yourself from being burned for some rounds, put out fire (from yourself/floor) and to throw on mobs so they become frozen when you attack with ice element, there must be more uses but I only know those, maybe someone else can tell more about. No harm experimenting too.

Recruiting gives +10 max, and every time you bang a monster, you get +1 max. It doesn't scale fast enough to mean much though and you'll run out of calories long before you increase it by any appreciable amount since you need to wait for it to drain.

And don't start a new game, but load a game. And save game after you reached last floor and returned through the TV to starting area. That said, if you loose a game, you loose the progress.
