Hi, been playing through the entire game again this update and I found this little inconsistency. Not sure if my english just isn't good enough or if it's actually worded weirdly.
See attached pic. They were literally together at the cinema, the scene where Ashley constantly call one character Gandalf. It's weird she'd introduce her as "One of my long term friends ashley" instead of somehting like "ashley, the girl we were at the cinema with"
edit: sidenote, the museum scene is awesome. When are we getting the first lore-heavy novel?

Maria isn't introducing Hana to/about Ashley. Like you said, they met once before.
In this scene, she is describing something Ashley went through because it relates to Hana, while at the same time informing her of the length of their relationship.
I can't seem to start the Kate events (I just started this game) - I've gone to Ashley's school by knocking on her door at noon, and when I talk to Kate she just basically tells me to bug off.

Lains walkthrough mod is blank, I tried clicking her door on multiple days, whenever it let me, tried some dungeon stuff, sleepover, devils tango in her room, edging, etc. Its a bummer since she is required to advance both Android and Lucys quests. I also tried rolling back my savefile to pre 0.11.x and focused on Kali like I did above, advanced Androids story a bit and tries again.. Nothing.
I'm happy to provide any files necessary.

It doesn't hurt that Ami and Kim are blisteringly hot. Two of the best characters in the game. And it looks like you wouldn't even have to choose between them.

While this game is definitely a gem, despite my hatred for abusive characters, there is one other thing I despise to see in any character whether they are loved or hated, and that is someone being a hypocrite. It's my number one pet peeve in existence that pushes me to a boiling point, so any time I see anyone in this game or literally any other game being like that I internally cuss him/her out from the bottom of my heart in the worst way possible, sometimes worse than that if said character acts like an asshole about it. I wouldn't necessarily put just any hypocrite on my shit list. Ashley had extremely rare examples of a hypocrite during the early going of her story as well as the twins. I hated seeing it but I didn't hate them for it. Kali is another example for the same stuff as well as Sylvia. But if I were to genuinely hate a character based off that, besides Ashley's and the twins' parents, it would be some of those one-off random no named characters that got interviewed during Lin's late stage events, or perhaps the one priestess that supposed to be a good person but supports harvesting elf blood for elf bots while saying elves have no souls. To me that's twisted and a bit hypocritical of someone of her faith, even though I know many in her position of faith think the same which outnumbers those in the same faith who prefer to think the opposite of the majority. People like them I want to slap some sense into with every fiber of my being, the majority of the faith that is.

It seems your files were somehow corrupted. You will likely need to reinstall.
