Yeah, this is a fantastic game. Faults are plenty, but it's absolutely worth the time and patience to play through. Not even going to bother ranting or complaining, really, I'll just do this:


PROS

• All but two women are fully shaven (all but one main character).
• Besides the queen and Selena most obviously, all the faces are incredibly attractive and not deformed or stupid looking.
• A pretty tremendous amount of content in two years, it puts 99% of other games to the sword in this department. Six or seven hours at least.
• Very decent lore and worldbuilding. It's a bit weak in the beginning, but by chapter four it's more and more fleshed out.
• I was totally immersed in the story and the blank slate protagonist. His face is totally hidden besides some tight side angles, so you can self insert as much as possible.
• Obviously ymmv but I was glued to my screen, which is pretty rare for any game, AVN or not. I'm not saying it's the strongest plot or the best characters but it was the right amount of interesting for me to pay attention.
• No stupid scenarios or dumbfuck situations that the MC finds himself in.

CONS

• The unshaven main character is the one I'd least expect to be so, and it's very disappointing.
• A huge amount of typos. I don't think the script has been spellchecked or proofread at all. The saving grace here is that it's not engrish or ESL, so it's clearly just lazy editing rather than illiteracy.
• Honestly it didn't really bother me considering how into it I was, but there really aren't a lot of sexy parts. It heats up later on naturally, but we're still talking half a dozen full sex scenes in a lot of hours.
• In two specific scenes I felt the "revenge" or payback was cheap. I wanted to cut those assholes into pieces or burn them alive or something, but it's just a stern talking to.
• Even though the amount of content is above and beyond what I'd expect, unfortunately this one is going to take a long time to finish. I hope beyond all hope that it doesn't fade away and become abandoned.
• Too many of the women have cartoon tits, and it's out of place. Obviously the MC is packing a footlong meat cannon so that's unrealistic, but for so many of the women to be otherwise realistic and then have ogre boobs is jarring and unwelcome.

Absolutely worth your time. This should be one of the most popular games on here and I'm sad that it isn't. I rarely even bother writing reviews or ratings on things I enjoy since my prime happy time in life is shitting on people, but this one deserves it.

Ok, I have to admit that the renders are a bit dated, all the girls look fake, like doll-fake (Selena is the best example), but the story so far (Chapter 4 part 2) is excellent, full of dramas, mysteries, romances, humor and sex (from Chapter 2). And more importantly, there is a big secret behind what really happened to the MC from when he was 5 (when his dad and brothers died) to when he was 15 (when he saved Ariana), because realistically, it was impossible for him to survive 10 years in such a wild and hostile environment with no house, no family, no friend and almost nothing to eat.

There is no real major choice in the story itself, it’s quite kinetic, but apart from 2 love interests who are crucial to the story, you have the choice to reject any other LI if they are not up to your liking, and that is a BIG plus for me. The MC could be a little more Alpha from time to time, when the situation needs it, but he’s not a wimp either, except in front of the queen because … well she’s the queen after all, but she’s also a softie and a mama bear inside so it’s not a big deal.

The game is more than 2 years old and already has a lot of content, so give it a try and form your own opinion, you might be surprised. A very nice discovery for me, not in the top 10 either, but I still can’t wait for Chapter 5!

Story just dident do it for me but what really killed it was the MC, im just getting to tierd of submissive MCs with a mindset of a 12 year old thinking everyone he sees is hot, it breaks any chance of immersion if you hate the person MC is lusting so hard for, also the getting a boner like a kid from nothing what so ever is again childish and not like a grown up man.
The dialogs are to bland and writting to cringy way to often.

I know dev said there was 2 forced relationships/sex scenes which was needed for story so i wouldent hold that against the game, but its just not true, first one is the queen and he could have told her no very easy, theres no story related reasons for her to do anything with him, if anything it should stop anything from happening considering shes hes mother figure.....

MC thinks about if he should protest or just run away, then he thinks about how shes the most beautiful woman hes ever seen and to me personaly she was ugly as hell so yeah broke any immersion very early in game.
He also constantly question him self but does absolutly nothing about anything, in other words very submissive and 0 backbone.

Next a weird scene with Selena where she walls on him and starts grinding MC while shes out cold? makes 0 sense and MC thinks "oh crap im already hard and shes holding me to thightly to wiggle out" i mean he is a man? atleast i think he is? but apprently hes arms dosent work so he cant move her away? this truely feel worse then a b-porn movie and its all just to cringy.

Theres also little to no romance build-up, you meet girl you can fuck girl which also makes for a very boring game when you feel absolutly nothing for the girls MC is fucking since they just trown them selfs at him for no reasons what so ever.

If game dident have forced relationship and weird forced sexual encounters then it would proberly have been a better game or if it atleast really was absolutly needed for story but its just not, also it would need real choices or atleast trow that kinetic novel tag on so make people aware that main story is kinetic, when i search for games i exclude kinetic novels so would never have played this if i knew before hand.

MCs dick is ofc also over sized and in some animations it looks absolutly idiotic, where a girl cant even do a BJ since once just the tip is in she already has her mouth fully opened as much as possible.

Girls are a bit meh, theres a bit of diversity in builds but ofc the forced stuff is only bimbos and not having a big tit fetish that dosent help things.

Animations are a bit bland but proberly around average looking, not bad but nowhere near great either and some are just weird.

Music is very low and it dosent really suit the game either, sound effects are just kinda weird.

As for choices there arent really many, theres a few girls you can turn down but overall you should think of it as a kinetic novel.

I am so tired of having to switch my brain off to read these VN's. I am also incredibly tired of writing that's completely out of its depth for the setting chosen. The queen and her family talk like a bunch of sorority girls.

The story is just a back drop for the MC getting his dick wet at every corner, which once more is completely, entirely unbelievable unless you just had a lobotomy. But then he seems to be the only guy with a dick, so maybe the "women" (using that word generously here, because they barely make it past cardboard) really have no choice.


Stories like this is why you perverts can't have nice things. Awful.

Homelander is a mostly kinetic harem-style AVN based on an open relationship set in the Middle Age, with optional futa content where you decide on the spot if you want to be on the receiving end. Models are nice and varied (youngsters and some sexy MILFs) and sex scenes are decently animated but somewhat conventional and uninspiring for the most part, at least to my taste. It's funny that the optional futa content, Gloria and the sex scene with Cordelia are the highlights of Ch4 P2, seeing as Selena isn't yet beddable. Miranda The princess isn't exactly attractive, she looks like a doll made by Pixar. Even Cordelia looks smarter and her sex scene feels less generic too.

Some facial expressions are weird, making a character to either look 15 years younger (you can see this with e.g. Olivia in her first sex scene) or deformed.

Also, this has all the looks of becoming (if it isn't already) yet another game with a silly number of LIs which you can mostly fuck once. I appreciate the fact that I get to decide which girls I want to bed, but for a kinetik novel it would be a lot simpler (and more believable) to have less fuckable girls. For example, you could get to bed Abigail but only be able to kiss or grope the other halflings. This trend to make every single character a target for a fully-fledged sex scene only ruins games but hey, what do I know...

There are two versions - All women version or Mixed types version. I played the mixed version.

All the characters are cute and sexy, with various body sizes and shapes. There are two confirmed futa characters so far, and both allowed you to only be on the giving end if you don't want the MC being dicked. So far there are no 'gay' love interests, as in strictly male on male content, which is personally good. I love dickgirls but don't enjoy sexing normal males.

Sex scenes feature solid animations. Most sex scenes feature women cumming multiple times, creampies, facials, and sometimes even multiple cumshots from the MC. They don't feel short and forgettable!

The themes of HAREM and INCEST (adopted family relations for MC, but some characters are blood related and play with each other) are kinky and prominent. Building a harem is incentivized and even pushed on you by other women. There is NO JEALOUSY or BREAKING HEARTS by pursuing hot women!

The love interests are all sweet with interesting backstories, but have various different archetypes they fit into (shy, strong, dom, sub, love, fling, etc.)

I love the variety in the characters, the world building, and the focus on HAREM and incest. Fantastic quality game!

It's...... just not a good game, in any way. Everything from the writing to the visuals are bad.

When it comes to the story, it's not well thought out at all. The MC is supposed to be an orphan whose family died when he was 5 and survives 10 years in the wild on his own, as if that wasn't unbelievable enough, MC for some reason is extremely naive and civilized and talks like a nobelman despite living in the wilderness for the vast majority of his life.

That brings me to the writing of the interactions in this game. The only way I can describe this is that it feels extremely manufactured. 90% of the MCs dialogue is giving positive reinforcements to other characters, it just gets extremely cringy. There should be more to a dialogue than just being nice to each other, there should be normal conversations, small talks, tense moments, friendly banter etc to make it seem like you actually care about what the other person is saying.

Just like his dialogue, the MC is also extremely bland. The stereotypical Gary stu Mr perfect. Even though he spent all of his childhood alone in the wilderness, he has nothing to show for it when it comes to his personality. He seems to be perfect at everything he tries his hands at, girls fall in love with him at first sight, it's just extremely boring.

The visuals are bad, the models are not that good looking and that's not even the biggest problem, it's something about the color grading, it's very orange, like the Mexican filter you see in movies. It hurts my eyes, everything is extremely dull looking.

Kinda hard to rate... If you are looking at this like a game, then it gets zero stars.
As far as a kinetic novel goes, it gets about 3 stars I guess.

Graphics aren't too good. I mean, certianly not bad but really bland after awhile as it mostly takes place inside a castle....so you are just looking at stone walls and floors the whole time.

Like most other mc's around here....all the females fall in love w the mc pretty instantly.

I quit sometime in chapter 3. By then I think there were three choices. One didn't matter what you chose and I'm not sure if the others did either... They weren't important though.

Females aren't that great looking, though, considering the style I guess they fit in well.

Anyway... Wish I hadn't downloaded it as I was looking for a game. If you want a story to read, you could give it a try.

Damn it. I hate this. First of all the MC is godlike perfect at everything he does/is. Every woman falls for you and you cant do no harm. Your only choices are if you are interested or not.
What makes this really annoying is that everything else is awesome.
World building, story, characters and writing. On par with the best games on this site. It´s a pity the dev wasn´t brave enough to resist the whiny bitxes.
Since an agregate star rating system isnt very precise i´ll have to give it a 4. Here´s hoping the dev makes a "grown ups" version with real relationships in the future.

Wasnt expecting to be this good actually. It looks like there is a lore and a nice story behind it. Similar games only provide sex at medieval times. It feels nice to see something not shallow and with all that it lets you to chose between women and trans content. I like trans content it is nice that I can play that way.

Wow, I'm really enjoying Homelander ! The story has me hooked, especially because the characters are so interesting. kaela definitely a standout – she's very cute.

The visuals are also impressive. The character models are beautiful, and the environments are well-designed. The animation is smooth and adds to the overall experience.

Overall, this is a fantastic game! It easily gets a 10 out of 10 from me. The characters are engaging, the story is interesting, and the visuals are top-notch. Definitely worth checking out!

I WANT to give this game a four star but that's just not possible. The other aspects weigh up for the fact that the MC is completely dull. He's your gary stu, everything goes his way, he's BEST at everything without no training and of course t he women throw themselves at him. He's also a submissive white knight, ugh I want to puke.

BUT despite all that, the story? The characters? The atmosphere? They're too good! The dialogues are often fluid enough despite the fact that most of the LI's veer towards being the same archetype. The game is good at pulling you in, sometimes with interesting backstory, sometimes with heartfelt revelations. There's just enough to make you ignore all the banal thing the MC gets up to.

So my tip to you is to try to swallow the gary stu MC and just focus on other aspects. Sometimes I skip the cringiest dialogue and maybe I'm delusional but it works!

EDIT: forgot about the sex and kinks. It's a harem game but this has a good twist that makes it all the more fun! The kinks are nuanced enough for the game not to be another taste of boring vanilla Too much MC submission and passivity for my taste but it's still good. Kudos the dev!

Some may dislike this game because the "Gary Stu" MC, others may find some trivial plotholes.
But, the real thing here is, you can CLEARLY tell this dev gives a shit about the game and the players. And you can see that in how many topics in the game have been put through seriously though in them.
Also the characters are quite hot and the sexual nuances are cool, but again, you don't feel treated like a retard by the dev which is A LOT nowadays. And you can clearly tell that the story has direction and a goal, and is not a simply bunch of sex scenes poorly chained one after the other.

I know there's supposed to be some level of suspension of belief when it comes to playing games but this one is really makes no sense right from the very beginning. The MC was 5 and the only family he had was a father and 2 brothers; they get killed and he proceeds to live and somehow survive for 10 whole years before accidentally running into the princess of the land. What makes zero sense is that he somehow knows about the palace guards and such despite having zero education and despite having no one to teach him concepts for a whole 10 years straight. Hell, he even accidentally calls the Queen "Mom" even though he should have no concept of what that is since he never had one and was only 5 when he lost his whole family. For a 5 year old to somehow survive the wilderness, but also somehow magically know the definition to tons of words as well as learn social norms without any human contact for 10 years straight just really breaks the immersion. If it isn't obvious by now, this is a completely Mary Sue story where the MC is Mary Sue who just so happens to be great at everything despite having zero background for it at all and all the women just somehow love him for no reason either. This type of story might be fine if it were some extremely outlandish and kooky comedy but it really tries to be a serious story. Although clearly taking place in medieval times, the dialogue is just extremely anachronistic; using tons of terminology of the modern day. Overall, the whole story and premise just fails to capture me.

Review for Ch.4 P1d

I think my entire issue with Homelander boils down to the fact that it is simply boring at the end of the day. It's a very textbook example of those Gary Stu power fantasy harem type of games. MC who's naturally good at most things, has insane amount of magical potential, looks that make all the girls fall for him immediately, and last but not least; the token comically oversized dick.

The MC lost his family due to a raider attack, he survives on his own out in the woods for a bit, and then has a chance encounter where he saves the young princess of his nation from drowning in a nearby river. Long story short, this leads to the Queen essentially adopting him into the royal family. Insert time skip, and now the MC is 18 which means it's time for every woman he looks at to start falling in love with him.

In the three chapters I played, I think about ~90% of this was jumping from love interest to love interest fawning over the MC in various ways. Now it does feel like there's a bit more thought than usual going into the world this takes place in. Wars, different nations, history, etc etc. General lore to group it all together. This could be cool, and I was waiting for the game to do something with it. Do anything with it. To the point where I started holding the skip button for ANYTHING that wasn't another girl thinking about how attractive the MC is.

The very end of chapter two is where I finally get something. Shortly after having sex, the MC emits some sort of burst of magical energy that is felt by mages all over the world? Indicated by jumping to various locations showing new characters never before seen. Alright now that that's over, lets go back to flirting with all the girls and introducing another three girls who all once again immediately fall for the MC. In response, I went back to holding the skip button.

You could argue that this is just a slow burn taking its time, but there's nothing within these slower parts keeping me truly invested in the first place. The whole game so far is various small events with different girls all taking place within the castle/town around it. So then are the girls themselves worth sticking around for? For me, not really.

The love interests don't really shine because they are all just revolving around the MC, and we see few moments where they aren't. The Queen: wow this guy is making my daughter happy and also he's hot. The girl homeschooling us: wow this guy is smart and also he's hot. The guard training us: wow this guy has great combat potential and also he's hot. The maid: wow this guy is so nice to me and also he's hot. You catching a theme here?

The renders are alright, but the character models are a mixed bag for me. Some are decent, some feel overdone. I love strong women, but the beefy blacksmith girl feels jarringly extreme as an example (and I hate her hair). The animations were also alright I suppose, but sex scenes where a girl is screaming in ecstasy from us just putting the tip in feels goofy more than anything.

I think this is just not for me at the end of the day. I bash on this a fair amount, but if you like more mindless power fantasies this is probably decent. It's not as if anything is egregiously bad, it just isn't that interesting of a game thus far. I needed more than sitting around in a castle while all the girls fall in love with minimal effort from the MC.

Homelander, Chapter 4, Part 1.

This is set in a medieval fantasy world, that has been fleshed-out with more world-building than most. Aside from men and hobbits (renamed), it focuses on a different set of fantasy races than the usual bunch. It has the typical overpowered main character with the huge dick that women can’t resist. Not much originality on offer.


It plays primarily as a kinetic novel, with choices mostly serving to allow the avoidance of unwanted sex scenes. The cast is sufficiently diverse and inclusive to be suitable for modern audiences, but I’m not sure the dev’s heart was entirely in it: I swear one of the black insert-characters was modeled after Aunt Jemima.

Overall it is shaping up to be a fun harem. Some of the girls and sex scenes are very hot, and you can mostly skip the ones that don’t appeal.

As of Chapter 4, this was a happy surprise

- Good amount of content
- Overall interesting story/direction
- Decent scenes, image quality and/or animations

What the game "teases" you, it often delivers after some buildup. Which makes into a good amount of sex scenes.

Things I dislike is the necessity for the schlooooong haha half of it would make more sense. The amount of blood needed to only get it up is absurd haha kinda break my immersion

I disagree with the affinity with all types of magic being a downside, specially because I believe it plays well in the high fantasy this games feeds on. Yet the way the story will use that is important, not to make progression or consequences meaningless.

And reaching the high fantasy, I like the way it is envisioned. Feels like a good amount of 'lore', with races, conflicts, etc. Definitely way above average.

So far I don't think we had many impactful choices, but since it's earlier that's still fine.

I'm a sucker for high fantasy, medieval games without too much drama/conflict, so take all I've said with a grain of salt if you dislike any of that. In any case, I definitely think this is worth at least a shot.

Pros:

• Competent worldbuilding. An entire continent with fleshed out geographic zones, varying civilizations and species, an interesting magic system, a fleshed out matriarchal society, etc. Could be more fleshed out how the Bad Guys are both disjointed criminals while also being a significant and coordinated threat to your Queendom, but whatever, not a dealbreaker.
• Player choice for all but the most important romances
• Player choice in the inclusion of bi/trans romances
• Sexy scenarios built around an OP self insert character and his horny for open relationships love interest

Cons

• Characters are often too similar to one another. There's the shy archetype and the forward archetype, and that's about it. And the giant Big Sis super soldier blacksmith shouldn't be shy, imo. If anyone were to be casual about sex, it'd be her.
  • Every single romance character basically says verbatim "I could tell you were big, but wow!" Maybe have some be fully surprised instead of half surprised, have some think it's a little off-putting, have some not comment at all. Variety is the spice of life!
• MC is too perfect and his dick is too comically big. Reducing both by like 25% would be nice. Give him like one interesting flaw, c'mon. I rolled my eyes when it was revealed he

• Some choices take too long to pay off, if ever. Like I know it doesn't matter but the dream hammer looks silly, wish I had picked something else.
• Some of the faces are a bit rough. Ariana and the mage in particular, former looks a little too gaunt/cheekboney, and the latter's face seems vertically compressed
