As was I.

Killing Cass at the end of the 0.5 update means you get to skip over 0.6, and go straight into 0.7 content, which felt horrible as a player.

I'd say that last one is a pretty big fucking deal, which LM promptly ignored in 0.7 to "equalize" her path, which is not a good move either.
All 3 routes feel bad. You have several silly options to choose from, all are lacking.
Trying to shoe horn conflict in ways that don't really make sense.

It's bullshit to have so many choices in the game and then it's not even possible to refuse your forced wedding or even block the sister's wedding if on her path. Deleted the game just for that trash. Shame the game had some potential.
There are many choices in the game and most of them are related to political decisions. My favourite thing about the game is that the political side of the game is completely based on reality, there are no absurd choices. I understand that you are uncomfortable with marriage, but actually it would be illogical if it was the other way around, because marriage is the most important act of gaining allies and alliances for royal families to maintain power and legitimacy. Especially when the only son of a king has no heir, this is a big handicap. Some of the reasons for marriage are touched upon in the game. The old king knows that he is at the end of his life and wants to secure the crown for his son, who will take the throne when he dies, so he has both the prince and the princess married to powerful families as a matter of urgency, in order to gain new alliances.

Thats what makes it worse soo many choices and opportunity to dictate the flow of the story and none for the most important ones. And for what a piece of shit deadbeat father who exiled him, alienated his older daughter and using his kids like pawn. If you choose the correct option mc says that he would even kill both his father and the suitor rather than go ahead with this charade. Then he still quietly like a little bitch goes along with the wedding farce anyways. How's that for logical story flow? Choose all the options to disrespect the kings beforehand too.

Well it's the dev game and his decision on how to make it, i'm not ranting trying to force him like some idiots do here just calling out on the bullshit on display.

But the children of royalty have *always* been nothing but glorified pawns to be married off to this prince or that princess to secure treaties and peaceful relations with your neighboring kingdoms and city-states.

To say that for MC to go along with his normal path to ascension, after which *then* he could go about enacting changes, makes him some kind of soi-boi beta cuck is just silly.

About the only royal children that might have a chance to "marry for love" like a commoner would be maybe the youngest one after enough siblings were already married, and more importantly, *already had heirs of their own.*

But MC, as the eldest male heir? Come on, that shit aint gonna be avoided.

You can "neutralize" the sister's wedding, while keeping her bethroted fiancee as an ally for the Western provinces' political landscape. A win-win situation. Moreover, politically speaking, it would be dumb for the king's heir to refuse a marriage with such powerful parties' heiresses

I love how you, when talking about the fictional politics of an erotic game, manage to create a dialectic between Sun Tzu, Dante and their hard dicks, however the only thing I can think of is that a fucking update today would be a gift delivered by Aphrodite herself

There are three paths in the game that are flagged : Green emperor, where Cas and her family and the western provinces gain majority control over the crown "obviously, because she and her family organized the entire plot". Red Emperor, kill cass just before the coronation opens the conquest paths for the rest of the provinces. White Emperor, which is the golden order/status quo pass where maybe the rest of the regions join through diplomacy (you have to defeat cass coup but not kill her).

Did you not read the message or did you not understand it properly? According to what this person is saying the Red Emperor (Kill Cass) path opens the options for conquering the rest of the providences, in other words recreating the empire your ancestor created. It's not your area that's getting conquered, it's you doing it to the other kingdoms. In reality it's one of the two good routes with the White Emperor being the other. Green from what they're saying just leads to you being a puppet state of the west which makes it objectively the worst route you could take. It's literally the only one where your losing power rather than gaining power.

No ?
You miss some content in the following update but that's it, so far at least.
IIRC if you kill Cass before her coup you still get the white coronation. Also you can order Cass execution after the white coronation, if you didn't kill her before.
