So let me get this straight. They have been operating this entire time - nearly ten years - without a finalized design doc and coordination system / functional hierarchy for writers? In addition to this, they have been operating under these same constraints without... a text/storyboard QA developer?
Do you realize how deadly these words would have been if they were spoken in any corporate environment? These are seriously concerning, project-killing statements.
Is this why there has been so much difficulty with maintaining a consistent direction with the plot and characters? In addition to this, their art team is... operating ahead of the writing team, and the plan is to do this ... consistently?
I sure hope that they are coordinating directly between departments in order to hammer out any difficulties with implementation that may have had a habit of arising. Maybe specifcally within this game. Maybe for a decade or so, I don't know.
My head hurts. I'm seriously going to need to go lay down.

That's what I mean. Imagine you're 10 years into a job and you suddenly tell your boss this:
"I have been struggling with my team to find direction. We don't even have our workflow down fully. Our team did not have somebody checking our work for consistency against our client's expectations. This has resulted in extremely poor performance and a low success rate. We have not met any of our goals thus far.
Anyway we just got a guy to check our work."
The first step is to admit you are an alcoholic etc... I hope this actually pushes the team into actually finishing the game. I wont offer monetary support of course but I dont want to see this game die incomplete either
I found this site some years ago (before the game was remade) thanks to this game and another one in (sort of) the same lane called "Wands and Witches". W&W is already finished after 8 years, they sticked to what they had planned and delivered, yet this one... well, you all know the deal. Innocent Witches has a great artist but that, along with the IP, is just a huge clickbait for their Patreon, which is a pity because it looked really promising, unfortunately that's all that's left, promises. I doubt this will ever get finished, but what's really sad is the dishonesty of the developers, I don't know if they believe what they write, but certainly to their public (which seems to be very prominent in indie game dev).
It's because while they program, they only use one hand—that's why it takes them so long.
Honestly, I got into a fight with them... The other day, I joined their Discord just to mess around, and the biggest virgin and serial masturbator of them all—some guy named 'Cauthon'—jumped in to defend them.
I don’t know, the artwork is some of the best out there, but it’s pure clickbait. It’s more erotic than pornographic, you know? And that’s annoying because they just exploit porn addicts to squeeze money out of them—ironically.

They pulled a Latin America—took half the budget to half-make the game, and the other half? They're probably blowing it on anime figures, no doubt. Haha.
