AFAIR, both chips and collars are used. But subcutaneous chips are implanted in everything from the last slaves to the staff. The chips are only removed from those who have reached rank Z1.

Im thinking everybody but the board of execs got chips. So Kiyomi probs has a chip on her too though I doubt anybody would dare to use it

PickerLewd In terms of the internal hierarchy, those who manage to reach Z1 are indeed stripped of the chip. But since Elena is not a stupid woman and knows that the duplicitous Kitty's loyalty to her personally may be questionable (despite Kitty's assurances of her wholehearted devotion), she has a secret chip embedded in her body. That is, as I understand it, the main chip was removed, and this one is tuned only to Elena's voice, and now Olivia's as well.

I wrote in the post above what this is all about..So no, that secret chip is still inside Kitty (and the main one previously set up to voices for all Board members has been removed, as it should have been when reaching Z1 rank).

Well, I'd definitely say you don't have to.
On the dom path, Juliette is a crazy bitch that should be thrown into a tentacle pit.
But on the sub path, Juliette is like the fucking boogeyman lol.
She is straight up terrifying when you play from sub Kane's perspective.
Does this path really make any sense though?
The whole point is to knock up a Karlsson, and she isn't one.
I'm interested in seeing her reaction to finding out that you have no romantic interest in Olivia though. That's gotta be some pretty disappointing news.

Not every Path is gonna lead to knocking up a Karlsson, For every faction there’s members in them and as sub Kane, you can choose to specifically which gal to serve/slave away to! Plus it kinda makes sense specifically in the situation on if you join Olivia’s faction, but have no sexual interests in her… Elena is a good option to fall back on
