Isn't Elena in charge of KG's legal department? It seems unlikely that operation "frame Kane" would have started without her approval. I don't see how any relationship can be built on such a foundation, and Kane really should have reached that conclusion soon after meeting her in the prison.

This has been written about it - it's a known bug where no matter what you do (unless you clearly failed saving the nurse Reyes in the lab), the game will assume you saved her. AFAIK, Tess has known about this for a long time too, so hopefully this nurse flag bug will be fixed somehow.
IMO, the most obvious solution (to avoid separate edits to the game's season 1 code) is to introduce in a future Ep8 pt2 the appearance of a dialog box that asks a simple question - did your Kane (Dom or Sub) save the nurse in season1. And 3 answer options - yes, no, was not in Veronica's lab. Once answered, your choice for that particular save file will save and be considered final.

I mean… I think Elena would see herself as the best option for Sub Kane because of that relationship with his mother so… and I think Callista wouldn’t mind if she’s looking at it from the program point of view…I agree, although it all seems a bit strange after seeing her relationship with Calista and how close they were.

The Board doesn't need her approval, even if she is one of the founders of the Karlsson Group, she still has to obey the majority of those who voted for a decision...As far as I remember, Alessandra was in charge of the operation to organize the false accusation of Kane, but of course the Board was aware of what was going on...In any case, a person locked up in prison is much easier to negotiate with than someone with freedom and independence.
Besides, this special prison is one of the mandatory steps of the whole rehabilitation program, and no one ever gets into JF without passing a small but important testing phase in prison beforehand. At least this is definitely the case for men.

However, a genius of Callista's caliber could find another solution (he could tell Elena to take Kane under her wing but not to use him sexually)
Although Callista may already be preparing Kane's future escape, as she sees that corporate life is not for Kane (so called outsider ending)

Callista could, but she won’t because Kane is still in the program, so regardless of what Callista or any character wants, they still have to follow the guidelines of it… and I’ll just say this, there’s a reason why Elena didn’t let sub Kane lick her… special place… when at that meeting near the fireplace.. (obviously it’s because she wants Kane to fully commit to Olivia’s/Elenas faction)

In this case, the outsider ending wouldn't make sense either (Callista wouldn't save her undeserving son)

I meant more...I believe she believes it to be true. How possible it was or how serious Alexander's threat was...is another matter. This has been discussed in great detail in the past, just exactly, what could Alexander have done...and how...given Callista most likely far smarter than he was and had her own resources and contacts.

Not sure how you can think like that. Outsider endings for Dom/Sub are confiormed and it is also confirmed that Callista is far more willing to help Kane than Cole is/can.
The only real question which cannot possibly be answered yet is exactly how that will come about and whwther she will be directly involved or not. If you think her helping is 'up for debate'...I'm not really sure what else to say to you.

If I understand correctly, Callista only saves her son after the end of the program (if she and he are still alive)

Heh no worries, got you. Can be easy to misunderstand things at times. I would not however think of it as an automatic thing, as there are far too many variables involved but would imagine (maybe incorrectly) that there will be choices to be made along the way (perhapos more so on the dom route than the sub route) that will enable that option at the time.
I think of course it depends on our choices whether Callista saves her own son in the end (from sub and slavery fate)
