Hello everyone!
I hope you're all doing great. Last week was pretty productive—I wrapped up DAY 5 of the episode and am now diving into DAY 6, which is when things really start to heat up! I’m excited because with this quicker pace, I probably won't spend an entire week stuck on one scene like I sometimes do, though LEWD scenes might still need extra love and care.
Speaking of LEWD scenes, my animator just sent me the last batch of animations for the scene he's been working on for a while. I've already given him new material for the latest LEWD scene, so fingers crossed things move faster now.
DAY 5
turned out bigger than I expected, ending up at 716 renders—just 40 shy of DAY 4's total. Honestly, it was exhausting, but I’m relieved the two days I knew would be big workloads are finally behind me.
Here’s a quick update on numbers:
2,613 static story images
81 animations
42 fully written scenes

Production has really ramped up lately! That’s 220 more images and 18 extra animations since last week alone. Surprisingly, DAYS 4 and 5 together now match the size of Episode 1 of The Entrepreneur. I initially expected this release would have about 3,500 renders, but we might end up closer to 4,000. We'll see how it goes!
And now for some exciting news—I've hinted at a "secret project" recently, and it's about 90% complete. I expect to finish it this week.
A lot of people hated the endings of The Entrepreneur and the secret project's got nothing to do with it. Hehe.
In fact, what I've secretly worked on for the past four months is a complete visual update for Episode 1 of Law School. I’ve redone all the renders and animations to match the improved quality seen in Episodes 2 and 3. Before anyone worries or gets confused, let me quickly explain why I did this:
1. Since Law School will be released by seasons on Steam, it's important to me to keep a consistent look and quality throughout each season. Upgrading Episode 1 now means a better overall experience.
2. Secondly, have a look at this chart my friend Stone Forest made:
1743413560657.png Since starting Law School, I've averaged about 19.3 renders daily. But since kicking off Episode 3 around four months ago, I've boosted that average to nearly 22 renders per day. This proves that updating Episode 1 didn’t slow down Episode 3 at all.

3. Lastly, I've invested in a third rig just so that I won't be using this as an excuse to say "Oh sorry, can't release the game because I've got all the static and animations of episode 3 to render still." No. I promise I'm working hard every day to deliver quality updates regularly. Hopefully, my past updates have shown you my dedication, my ability to deliver quickly, and Episode 3 will continue this trend.

Law School means as much to me as The Entrepreneur, and when you invest so much into something you create, you naturally want to make it as great as possible. Perfection might be impossible, but there's no harm in aiming for it. If you’ve been supporting me for a while, I hope you understand why I'm doing this. If you're unsure or have concerns, that’s completely fine—I respect your opinion, and hey, I can't wait to play your game someday too!
I realize this update was quite detailed, but I just wanted everyone—on Patreon and beyond—to clearly understand my point of view. If you're reading this here on Patreon, chances are you're already excited about what’s next, and I truly appreciate your trust and support.

That's all for now! I'll get back to work, and in the meantime, enjoy this render of Taylor as a distraction while I make a run for it:

See you next week—take care!

Simultaneously disappointed and relieved.

Looking forward to ep 3. It's not a make or break update for me, I'm probably committed to this for the long haul but I'll be happy to get out of introduction land and onto actual paths.

I lost a lot of my interest when i learned Lana isn't a LI, outside of Aurora and Taylor, the rest don't really do a lot for me.

I'll keep up with it for sure, but it did bum me out

Just now got around to Ep 2 and it's definitely keeping up quality. Pacing is really nice, writing is good, characters are very well done.
Huge fan of Miranda and Rose, seeing Miranda turbo-signing absolutely wrecked my sides.
Aurora is also just nuclear fallout levels of toxic and with more red flags than Turkey.

Honestly, really excited for the next chapter, this was really enjoyable.

There's probaby a good reason for it. We just have to wait and see. She's too close to the MC without there being a good reason for it.
It just feels weird that a girl who you end up having to bunk with, is at least physically attracted to and has seemingly good chemistry with the MC isn't an option.

Interested to see what it could be, maybe MisterMaya is planning on her dropping out soon

While it's weird, it's definitely pretty interesting from a design standpoint, I can't think of any other games off of the top of my head that has sprung a character like that on the MC without them being an LI.

I can think of a VN where the LI was a travelling partner of the MC, has sex with him, and then gets written out for a while so other things can happen to the MC. LI comes back, reconnects, then leaves over story events, never to return. Angered quite a few because she seemed like she was written to be a main LI but ended up not being one.

Alright THAT'S a weird one. Having a yo-yo LI that turns out to be not an LI is kind of a mistake honestly, if you're going to write a compelling character that turns out to be not an LI, you kinda need to go about it in the right way and not roller-coaster that shit. Atleast in my opinion.

Out of curiosity, what VN is that? Doesn't ring a bell.

Ellaria.

Thankfully there is no chance of that getting pulled here. I'm kinda glad Lana was upfront about things and didn't try to string it along and then drop it right before the ending as some kind of twist.

Removing her from the LI pool allows her to get used in a lot of ways that won't come with the backlash of "you harmed/killed/affected" my LI in some way.
