There is a difference between "less content" and "less detail".Less content?
There is a difference between "less content" and "less detail".Less content?
Wrong. They're co-dependent as they both provide to the whole which is the complete story. There is a difference between "less content" and "less detail".
Very apt analogy! Imagine what could happen if you removed some of the detail from this sign...Wrong. They're co-dependent as they both provide to the whole which is the complete story.
Taking away details would be like "contextually" going through a stop sign without looking left or right. Maybe you brake? Maybe you don't? What is a brake? What is a stop sign? Was my foot even on the accelerator pedal? Who's car is this?
I can tell you that is intentional, but I can't say anymore about it until the dev is ready to speak about it himself. There are some small changes and some larger changes in the works as Dima is wrapping up and polishing up this first chapter of the tale. Some of this will be even more apparent in the next release which, I believe, is not that far away... I'm pretty sure we are getting very close to the end of chapter 1...Hey, I don't know if this is a bug or not, but I will write about it.
This includes the intimate relationship between Jess and Tracy. As an example, I'll give you the scene where Tracy visits MC and Jess at the apartment for the first time.
In [v10 part 4 U1] Jess and Tracy will be kissing, but after installing [v10 part 4 U2] in the same scene Jess and Tracy will be hugging. I don't know if this is intentional or some bug in the variables that disables the intimate path between Jess and Tracy. Has anyone had the same situation?
Ok good to know. I spent about an hour trying to figure out what was causing this situation.I can tell you that is intentional, but I can't say anymore about it until the dev is ready to speak about it himself. There are some small changes and some larger changes in the works as Dima is wrapping up and polishing up this first chapter of the tale. Honestly, I don't understand what you're trying to say. This is a really weird choice of exaggerated analogy because it can be a great example of the different amount of detail for the same content.Wrong.
Harsh...Personaly the idea there is too much detail in this game makes no sense.
I have played a few games on here where by the time the scene moves on,
I'm already exhausted from reading it and feel like I just read a fekin book.
Yet the next scene is just as bad and the next and the next.
And I'm not talking about a text game it has images just not enough.
To match the feking long scene's.
It's like the Dev's of thoughs games have a form of typing diarrhea.
Made worse by the fact I been bored sh*tless staring at the same picture the whole time.
It's like come on dev atleast give something knew to look at while struggling through this.
Now they I would argue they need less detail or less content either will do.
Not gonna name them one it's against site rules and two if you can get through it they not that bad.
In fact they're great if you have insomnia.
But strangly enough I don't feel either of thoughs things with this one.
Infact it's the opposite not a good game to play to try and cure your insomnia.
And unlike the other games not once in the whole time I have played this game.
Did I ever read a scene where I thought get on with it for gods sake.
But thats my personal opinion.
Just sayin.
So if i want to marry Rai i have to automatically accept Nora too?No, just don't tell her you love her or ask her to marry you. If you are just fuck buddies, the Nora event doesn't happen.
Well thought out and apt analogy. I will differ only partially and in particular with one thought. "The audience can then decide whether it's too much detail or not enough detail." I would express this differently. I would say, "The audience can then decide whether to stay or go."Honestly, I don't understand what you're trying to say. This is a really weird choice of exaggerated analogy because it can be a great example of the different amount of detail for the same content.
Content = you go through a stop sign
Detail = whether you look left or right or not, brake or not, explaining what a brake is, explaining what a stop sign is, whether your foot is on the accelerator or not, whose car you're driving, what color the car is, what the weather is like at that time, what music was playing in the car, was there someone else in the car with you, who they were, where you were from and going to, etc.
As the storyteller, you get to decide how much detail you want to put to tell the "go through a stop sign" scene. The audience can then decide whether it's too much detail or not enough detail.
I just want to make it clear that I'm not asking for less content in this game.
The dev has already stated that this was an oversight on his part. He always intended there to be an opt out for Nora. He just forgot to code it in. He has said he will fix it for the next update. So if i want to marry Rai i have to automatically accept Nora too?
How does that make any sense?
Why not give an option to refuse Nora or make it like it was with Candi where the "rejection" came from her side or anything?
As far as i am aware:
I want to marry the hot redhead ≠ I am into GILFs
Full donwload? When will the full download be available?
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that's a sign on an american road?Very apt analogy! Imagine what could happen if you removed some of the detail from this sign...

I shudder to think...![]()
Yepp, just 8 or 10 updates to go!I'm pretty sure we are getting very close to the end of chapter 1...
We are very big on detail here. God forbid there be any confusion. It's important that folks be told everything they should not do!I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that's a sign on an american road?
Yepp, just 8 or 10 updates to go!
I don't care what you think, that's funny!
Any mods?Ran into a issue I think. I tried looking back through the post and haven't seen it mentioned yet.
I just started this recently. I added the U2 patch right away before I started reading through. No mods.
Everything seems to be fine until last night when I got to chapter 10. I think it started at part 2 but not positive.
The main issue is it seems like a whole bunch of story is missing, with a secondary issue of the MC name being missing.
MC name is blank and is referred to as "None" by all the characters.
For the missing story, It seems to start when MC and Jess are in their room for sexy time and get a call from the Russian girls at the diner about a emergency. It then goes straight to MC at their house for sexy time with a mention of her dancing at the club, then jumps to MC in the bathroom by Stan and Del and something about Angel being punished.
I re-download the U1 and the patch and was planning on just re-reading through without the patch first, starting from my last manual save which was several hours before chapter 10 as I don't know what the patch added, but I wanted to check first if anyone else ran into this to make sure I'm not just wasting my time.
/E:Incomplete and vague error reports are errors too.
Be clear. Be specific. Be thorough. Be informative.
- What system you have.
- What did you download.
- What did you do with it.
- What happens when you start the game.
- What is the error you detect.
- What have you tried.
- Provide the Traceback error if it exists.
After this we can start to see how and what help to provide.
