get real, town is in the middle of nowhere (not totally literally) and it has no access to sea so yakuza's not interested.

while i agree that a teamup between RMC & the Yakuza is unlikely,it has nothing to do with the location,which is (if im correct) a little bit more In-land then LA(a large coastal city)
Also a Assassin was dissipated after one phonecall so they have a presence in the area,which is also why the Hots spring owner had the contact and Said resort is even more remote then the town.

Are we talking about cars? Then it depends a lot. In bigger countries even with 3 hours on going on the highway will put you, at best around 600 km (370 miles for some part of the world) and also only if you can speed as fast as you want. And in the only Europe country that this is allowed 600 km is less than what this country measure in either direction (as it widest). And if you're in the Alps (or somewhere similar) you may need 3 hours alone to travel from one tributary valley to another one.

you could visit 3 countries in 10 sec on foot at certain points. (like the intersection off the Netherlands/Belgium/France its in a town and even has a landmark to showcase it)
but yeah 3 hours you could reach 3 different country's with a car in the EU but all depends on start/end points.
