What the heck are those houses lol? Usually I can ignore most of the lazy placement and positioning of character models in group shots, but those houses are absolutely ridiculous. Two are practically completely vertical and wouldn't at all be liveable.
I was wondering how people could sleep in such houses. Maybe stuck against a wall :ROFLMAO:

Yep, I was wondering the exact same thing. :ROFLMAO: I asked and the dev answered:

what happened with render quality? i don't remember being this bad
As far as I can tell, it's mostly only noticeable on the compressed version of the game (compressed by local players, not by the developer)..As I understand it, the problem is that the developer has already pre-compressed all the images to reduce the archive. And when players additionally compressed such a version, the quality naturally fell.

If you prefer uncompressed renders of higher quality, you can simply download them from the link above (if you already have the 0.21 p3 update on your computer, it's not necessary. Just copy the images folder and paste it into your game directory when the update comes out).

However, this doesn't answer the main question of what to do with further updates, whose images it appears the developer will continue to compress in an "ultimatum form".

The content of the current update (Ch.2 v0.22, the original ver that was not additionally compressed by the players) did not seem compressed to me, but my experience (I play in classic FullHD -1920x1080) may differ from the experience of other players, such as those who prefer 2k or even 4k resolution, where compression artifacts may be more noticeable. than in 1080p. Anyway, this question should be addressed to the dev himself, maybe he will change his mind or at least make 2 versions - one normal and the other compressed. I don't think that technically such conversion would take too much time from the dev.

No, 0.22 it's not compressed. From what I understand only the renders of chapter 1 - update 0.21p3 are compressed, and the dev will not compress the renders in the next updates. I imagine the dev wanted to avoid what happened last time with LFFG when he divided the chapters and a lot of people had issues with the savegames
