free roam are fun if done properly, this just is a huge mess in renpy, i did enjoy more the unity build since you can advance all events, they did trigger properly, now this game is unplayable so many scenes and event not triggering to a point that you dont know if he did not make any content or is just the game that is broken....

It is very rarely done properly as it would need unique events popping up all the time, and that takes work. Original LwT from LoP comes to mind as an example of being done right.

9 out of 10 times, devs use free roam to stretch content as much possible with repetitive grind giving the illusion of content between the few scenes offered. In its current form, this game is no exception.

Hey Lewdlab,
This is coming from my heart and i truly mean it.
you still have time to make it a linear story like DOD was and this could all work out.
i believe if this becomes more based on the story instead of being grindy then it will work out, but still from what i've seen is that alot of people just don't like sandbox because it's basically grinding and running in circles so i really hope you will change that.
DOD was amazing and i hope this one will be the same.
the story has a nice start it just needs to be more linear.

I really i hope i was able to give you idea of what the game should have or could have to make it a better experience for the community.

Dear lewdlab, Everything is almost fine. Just work on v 4.0 and post it soon with all fixed bug. Really hope to see good action with Joyce with new clothes. Please don't waste time on other additional characters. Just make thing intense within the family.

Its like the dev announced all these features, made up all these tall tales about his epic screenplay writing, multiple delay excuses, and then just gave up 25% in.

Makes no sense, he made everyone wait a month, why not a couple more weeks to polish this up.

there is actually a lot of them done right........ dik one of them, milfy city, man of the house, photo hunt,summertime saga, hell almost all the trending games have free roam and are more or less properly done.
I dont really know who is the coder of midnight but he needs to get fired, after the unity and now this bugged in renpy when is one of the most easy to code ....

Small puncturing. If you have a team to get enough content in each update, there is no problem. But if you're alone...

Even so, I think the main problem is not the format of the game. If not the inconsistency of the story... little credible and forced.

Im having issues, how do you get to the new content? Other than Thorne's Office and the talk with Isa in her room about the boyfriend nothing has triggered.....I.E. the Yoga lvls, Mrs. Harding's Story, The Massage Lvls, ect. It's getting way to bogged down by trying to find the crap that we should be playing instead of ACTUALLY playing it. A hint system or an updated walkthrough is needed in this or...well....You will end up with pissed off players that will drop this game faster than Trump drops wives

*sigh, why is there sleep molestation again... in DoD it kinda made sense because there was mind control aswell, but here its absolute bullshit. MC is gonna get the girls solely by romanticizing them, why is he molesting them on his 2nd day after coming home ? its not even introduced properly, in other games its mentioned that MC wants to fuck his family for a while now. here all the story is:
day 1: wow, i didnt notice what nice ass my sister has
day 2: *rubs dick on her ass while she sleeps
what the fuck is that ? why is it even here ? do these scenes do anything for anyone ?
also that teacher character is so horribly bad: day 1: "yo, MC come at my office, we are gonna have private lessons from now on", day 2: *lesson, day 3 "ok im gonna let you stare at my tits as a reward"
and as others said, i had to click around every location to find all the events. but im optimistic that features will be added in the future and because of the long delay he just wanted to ship the game as soon as its playable

DIK is not free roam, those indoor instances are so railroaded that it's practically linear. Summertime Saga has plenty of instances where you need to grind the fuck out of a repetitive action to see the few scenes of each update.

Milfy City, Photo Hunt and MoH are decent examples as they offer a good amount of events throughout the roaming.
