Can you post a save before the problem and your persistent file? (both in your game/saves folder).

What do you do with your save to trigger the problem? You read the text from Isa on the phone after the pool scene?

i just loaded your save completed the scene and read all text messages without errors (besides character using default name unless you left it as "Connor")

Are you using other mods or patches or did you edit files?



Edit: "KeyError: 'mc_name'"

I read Isa's text message on the phone after the pool scene.

Character using the default name unless you left it as “Connor” = Yes; Name changed to Ryan via Shawns mod.

i see 3-4 problems, 1. old mod, 2. old language mod and possible 3. fix2 and 4. mod includes patch.

pretty much this

mod is outdated
Language is outdated
fix2 is outdated
patch not needed and in mod thread "will cause errors"



do a clean install of 0.23 add the mod (0.23, note it will say outdated in the mod menu but ignore that as long as the file you downloaded said "0.23" its the right version)

DON"T add the patch or the fix2
and get updated version of the language pack (if its updated because the one you have is 2 version behind)

Try unchecking the box at the top left-hand corner.

i have that unlocked even with that tick.

after rescuing Isabel you have 2 choices to respond to her talking about how she felt. Depending on the choice you get 1 of the 2 scenes.
