Are you kidding me? I cried now. I don't know, but in my opinion developers who are not able to finish the game in a year should focus less ambitious history and less content. Summer time Saga is awesome, but constantly adding new things and playing from the beginning pissing off me. Wife And mother is definitely too ambitious. Another thing is when new updates move the game forward like Jessica Oneil or Hayley Story, Twist or Taffy Tales. People are pissed off waiting (Lewdlab, Icstor) and developers get bored faster. In my opinion, the best developer is NLT. Although I like other productions more, it provides fresh, new content regularly and we know that it will finish what it started.

This scene is in extras. In main menu, go to Extra, and select others. Btw, this scene is really great, but I think, that the game should already be at a point where we get scenes like this in the actual story.

During development all released updates should be considered as beta release. So, them 'pissing you off' for adding new stuff, optimizing the code, etc. is actually your own fault for playing an early access and not waiting for the finished game.

A subjective opinion. L&P's patrons don't think so. Ok, his game is slow - hell, very slow actually, but it isn't like he didn't tell his patrons about his slow approach.

You can get bored with everything. Even if you release an update with 1,000+ renders bi-weekly. A few pages back I stated, that a professional artist spends more time on a single render as an amateur with a Titan RTX. Reason: a professional artist aims for quality, an amateur for quantity (and I do not mean, that Dr.PinkCake is an amateur!).

Please keep in mind that developer are human beings as well and some of them have a family, a daily job or a private life. Means, they can't work 24/7 on their games.

People being pissed of waiting: What is it you being pissed about? The waiting time between updates? The development time until the game is completed?

As a part of a developer team and Moderator on Discord servers, I know that the vocal group of people aren't (money-)supporters, but pirates who don't support the game at all or do not buy the game later. My rule of thumb is: the higher the support tier the less active are the supporters. Means, high tiers are most likely occupied with real life compare to a lower tier or a pirate.

And to be honest with you: As a pirate there is nothing to be pissed about. I know it is hard to wait for an update, but as soon as you take breaks between updates you will cry less about "long development time".

You may disagree with what I wrote in the same way as I disagree with what you wrote.

If you really want to criticise something, criticise the overall Patreon development model. The ideal way to produce these games is all in one go without monthly updates, just like real AAA titles or eroge. You only have a finished product with a story that isn't dependent upon putting in blackscreens/fade to black whenever an update ends. In an ideal world people could trust their Patreon developers to get their funding for ~ 1.5-2 years without interruption and receive an awesome game. Just imagine what a game like Dreams of Desire, Midnight Paradise, Milfy City, Being a DIK or City of Broken Dreamers (to name the highest profile ones) would look like with so much time and money behind it? But unless something drastically changes to the way that Patreon or SubscribeStar do their business, we'll have to live with things as they are now. If you want some recently / close to finished titles, try Melody or The Visit. The Visit is close to being finished with the first ending being done and Melody is completed.

Unfortunately, this model was actually used by Tora Productions, and it did not result in a positive Patron reaction. I thought they were good stories and worth the wait, but the following just never seemed to materialize.

Ohhh...sorry, it must be a bug then. Mine bugged when it comes to the massages - didn't do them in proper order and now the Ruby (younger sister, can't remember if that's her name) ones have been unlocked and I made them but they aren't counting (they always appear tagged as 'New').

Progressed everything except those and the final massage on Isabela, can't get it to trigger and finish her part of the story

The first game I played here was so good that I wanted to buy it.
I wrote Patreon that I wanted to buy the game.
They write back to me. "We do not accept a one-time payment, but only support monthly."

So what they're saying is wrong.

Was it a complete game or still under development? Because releasing an early-access on Steam or wherever is a bad idea in my opinion.

And ofc there are shady devs as well. For example if you want to "buy" a copy of Dreams of Desire (Lewdlabs first game) you can't buy it on Steam & Co. you have to subscribe to their Patreon page to get it. However, as soon as you paid - let's say 25 bucks - you get the game and can unsubscribe your support to them. Another games like Glamour need a monthly subscription to play the game (but there is crack for that too).

DMD+Melody i know. And i pay monthly the smallst is possible. For short time i play The Awakening. Is nice, i like. i want also pay somepthing for this game and i see:
Smalls paying is 3$ = 40€ a Year. Too much for me.

Snow Daze, Tomboys i not know... i look ... is 2dcg. Broken Dreamers, Dreams of Desire and Being a DIK i know, but i not love. too bad and too sad "Love" for me.

The only and best way to play this is F95Zone. I think, is not good, to say, this is "Pirate", to play here.
