I can't even get there. I have objectives to watch tv in the afternoon with mom to open the drinking night event, and the same objective with Isabel, and neither of them watches tv in the afternoon, much less both of them.
Probably because I'm stuck for some reason with Isabel on 5 affection and 1 trust, while at at least 15 affection with the other two, and I've done every Isabel event for points on the calendar.

click the calendar to see when they are watching tv, good thing dev at least figured out that with this sort of design making the player figure out which days/times they are somewhere is just too much work and lead to pure frustration
when I did the playthrough, I tried to clear the calendar of any events that provide benefit with all 3 girls, and only then push the quests further to unlock new relationship tiers, sometimes they seemed to advance without any particular quest event, just reach 25/25 and it turns to 25/30 etc
IMHO it would have been better that the player could start the interaction of asking them to go watch tv because he bought a particular movie (or go shopping, or go sunbathing, since the weather is nice or something), in addition to just having to wait for a specific day and time of week, but, you know, one can always make a remake of the same thing with "improved gameplay mechanics", add a scene or two to pretend they worked really hard, perhaps an animation with hands stuck inside objects etc, and make people wait for it for couple years...

I mean, is it possible to start with current version of the mod and update it later?
No. The game code has been changed. Better to wait for the mod update or play without a mod

Story quests have nothing to see with sandbox scenes and affection. Just do what is written, go in the living room in the afternoon and click on the table.

its not, we all have to replay this one, too much code was changed ingame and also renpy updated so mod have to be remade

Unlocking a new affection cap always depends on a story quest. In your case, if the cap went from 25 to 30 without doing anything specific, that means you had unlocked the 30 cap in a previous quest. But you only see it when you have enough AP (in your case 25).
So I think you didn't really see 25/25 => 25/30 but rather 24/25 => 25/30.

No offense, but making changes to the game's existing story or adding scenes that aren't important is not good, especially after 15 months of waiting and being presented with a game that doesn't load old saves, has no patches, and has a slow storyline. I don't get it.

Great update. Lot of new content. random events etc. It's probably the first update that seems to move to a direction
My only problem is with the timing. ... I will use an example, I already played Ruby's birthday scene, and we all know what's going on there, and I have massage level 1 with Ruby... Same with Joyce, Joyce already confessed in the bathroom etc but Yoga level 2...massage level 2
Probably I missed the correct order of doing things and a walkthrough can help but with the random events you are so far ahead in story and so back in some of the events

Okay so to confirm, I'm going to have to start the game from the beginning for 1.7 to work? No saves are compatible correct?

You use a mod and/or modified something in game? Isa's Trust is at 5. It's impossible where you are. Isa's trust is updated to 5 in only one place in the code as well as few others variables and those variables have not been updated so...

I tried yesterday to see what I can do to work around it, but part of the overhaul was also changes to the game's Event System; so I am going to have to implement these changes to the WT which is going to take some time though part of that is to make sure the when/where are correct.
I also went ahead and added hints to the choices in the Prologue.

Yeah, sandbox scenes are unlocked thx to your progress in the story but the reverse isn't true. Storylines never depend on sandbox elements so. You can avoid all sandbox stuff if you're not willing to do it.
In the end, if you do it "too late" there are inconsistencies with what you've already seen during story scenes.
