Played the 0.25 update this morning after getting Shawnchapp's updated mod for it (thanks!)
It was enjoyable, but sort of felt a bit odd at the same time as it was a full departure from the game I'd been playing. It felt a bit like a "special episode" or mini spin-off or something. I think part of that feeling for me is because I'm not a big Joyce fan (she's just "okay" for me, not really my type) and I wanted a bit of variation.
Fortunately for me, I randomly had a bunch of sandbox elements incomplete outside of the actual story objectives, so I then went through and completed all of those, which gave me time with Sofia, Jane, Isabel, and my favourite, Ruby, and that definitely helped.
That aside, the actual quality of the update was good, with good scenes when applicable. I felt that the actual sex was a bit too easy - after all the build up and "no, we can't cross that line", it felt like that line was too quickly crossed here. I would have liked a bit more resistance/uncertainty before it did happen, but I guess the idea is that the scenes we get before it provide the last bit of the barriers being gradually broken down.
Next up is hopefully to get the girls learning about each other so we can enjoy them at the same time!

Of course, everyone has different preferences in games, but this game (in my opinion) has the greatest interest in the mother... After a long time, what a lot of people were waiting for finally happened... And the end result, I think, makes you forget those mistakes, which you might have noticed... Yes, I also had a couple of scenes that could have been better, but that's not what matters anymore, but that there really is a harem at home and the girls accept each other...

Yeah, definitely, I'm majorly in the minority on this one, but that's fine. I added the girls to my overall ranking spreadsheet earlier and was surprised to find that there are not many I rate very highly (just based on looks) but it's still a favourite game because the story makes the girls so much more appealing than just their looks.
It's the one proper sandbox game that I actually enjoy the sandbox elements of. I think there's only one other that I play, because I usually get frustrated with the gameplay and give up on them (and that other one is largely because it was one of my first games and I am invested in the character progression).
Here, the scenes themselves (even the often-shorter sandbox ones) are always of a good quality. There's a lot of variation, good animation, angles/positioning, etc., and I also enjoy some of the dialogue (including thoughts) during the scenes - usually the dialogue can be awkward and/or cumbersome, but here it seems to work well. I like how it's not always fully formed sentences and long thought processes while in the middle of having sex. It doesn't need that, and the dev here seems to have a good balance, IMO.

Also, which version of the game, did you use mods, compressed version etc.
