If you think 0.13 was not even an update that's quite upsetting.
I have no intention to look as if I don't trust Dr. Sin, I just notice to be an independent sexy games developer is a risky passion/ work, due the incredibly amount of (out of statistic) injuries, illnesses and similar issues
So when was last real update, October? That makes 6 months or so.

Sure, but that's what he warned everybody about before releasing 0.12. I don't know if he actually has health issues or not and it really doesn't matter to me, because I would've even accepted him just bluntly saying "hey, took this week off so I have nothing new to show you, back to working next week" post. Key thing is that this guy is still communicating and posting weekly, sometimes even multiple times in a week, and that is by far more than most of the devs are doing. He surely has no reason to lie, that's why I wrote in advance that I trust him, just saying the most part of them should really grown up a bit and just say they need a week off or so, because the amount of health issues among them is worrying in numbers!
Exactly what Dr. Sin did by saying he needed time off from MP.
Yes, he did tell us 0.13 wouldn't be a proper update, that just doesn't change the fact from the last real update to the next one there will be a 6 months time. Good for him, not so much for us.

That is true, many devs could learn from Dr. Sin how to actually communicate with their community. When it comes to health issues, I could kind of understand it though. There is much pressure coming from different sides and so many people all the time, and if you're not able to deliver in time there is multiple hellhounds ready to tear you apart just because of their own attitude and agenda towards developers. It's probably pretty wearing to be a dev, and it's definitely not a work for everybody.
I meant that before releasing 0.12 he warned everybody that it's going to take a long time before next proper update is made for MP. When it's just him, Lain and maybe two other people working, it ain't a surprise that it takes some time since they are not deving in advance, which would've came handy at this moment.

Yep, me and you already wrote something similar, I was saying you should be at least a copule of updates ahead and you were stating this is not the way the team Lewdlab works.
Yes, we (I try to be understanding but sometimes me too I fail to) players are really terrible at times...
What's more: we basically are on a pirate site, or in a community exploiting someone to get games for free, so we should only be thankful for what is given us for free, and eventually decide if to donate/pledge. Instead of that we keep complaining about almost everything, from time schedule, to characters, renders, animations, story, and so on.

Oh it was you who I talked about this, excuse me my memory.
And yes, we are complete shit at sometimes here to the devs. Yet if we weren't complaining about anything, there wouldn't be any kind of progress in the works of the devs and everybody would basically just turn into devs like Icstor. Sounds really contradictory, I know.

No one has really accused him for lying, it was just bare suspicion because it seems to be really common for adult game devs that always when they can't or won't be able to get something done there is always a health excuse for it instead of just saying "yeah I was lazy this week and took it off".
Like said, if he really has back problems then that's a real shame and hoping a fast recovery for him. Maybe buying electronic table and working while standing could be solution for the future.

Yep, I think this is a sort of a paradox...
Yet If we were to know a little better the devs we would know with whom to use a carrot and who deserves a stick.
Or better said, we would know if to be assertive, understanding or supporting depending on the dev.
