Probably a mistake. Should have been Poseidon rather than Neptune, unless Medusa also existed in Roman mythology. The whole "after choosing harem saying I love you cancels it" was a mistake.

Unhelpfully vague changelog is vague and unhelpful.
Had a feeling this would be like nergals nest's urban demons and have updates after the game was "finished"

Does he become an Alpha with a pack or does it end before it happens.

There is no pack, no harem, no nothing. Supposedly you can choose to be leader with a pack or give it up. But the endings are the same. Even as a leader, everyone effectively has the same ending. The "partner" has maybe 1 picture that is some variant with colorful, but meaningless text.
Game flew high, but crashed and burned with no meaningful effort to save something from the wreckage.

the only reason i accepted be the leader of the Morons Pack, was because the alpha had a "harem" it does not need to be all of them, but still, you get nothing for joining the pack, it was a good game, the it was a rushed game, then it turned into toilet paper
