There was a screenshot from patreon where the dev answered a similar question about NTR, NTS and whether VI will sleep with someone without Eric's knowledge - i don't remember exactly -dev wrote that the events(scene) will be different, some will think that this is NTR, others that this is NTS, the plot will make people think differently. That plot is developing (it was clear from his words that he didn’t have a ready-made plot, he was signing it gradually) the situations in which the characters of this story may find themselves may be different, the story is not finished so it is not clear what they will have to face.
But in the post above (which didn’t delete) he was already saying completely different things!

It's because there are a few individuals in the thread that keep going after and personally attacking anyone that expresses a differing view or opinion from them. It's a tactic to try and steer the game in a specific direction. Their posts keep getting deleted so it shouldn't be an issue anymore. I think that's why it's important for the dev to clarify.

There will still be plenty of intrigue and adventure to enjoy in the game, just as we've seen in the previous chapters.

But there was no other direction. Just to respond to all this last stuff at once the whole reason I had him publicly clarify is he had the same conversation on the discord a year ago. With more or less the exact same response.

Nothing has changed due to patreons or anyones opinions, quite the contrary in fact. One of the things I respect about CG is how hes stuck to his guns, in spite of people (and they know who they are) attempting to push the game in a different direction.

That doesn't mean there will be no intrigue or drama, confused where people get that idea just because theres no clear antagonist and the MC is not a doormat.

Most peoples lives don't have a clear antagonist, that doesn't mean they're drama free. That goes double with the crazy life Eric leads.

I played the latest update and it's really bad. In my opinion, it's significantly worse than all previous releases. Up until this point, the game was great, and the factor that set this game apart from others was the storytelling and solid and believable characters. But now what? Dominant Maki suddenly becomes submissive because bbc? And shy Anya gets corrupted from 0 to 100 in one minute? It all feels like a cheap NTR cliché now. This is especially surprising considering Dev never rushed the character development, and now they have changed in a matter of seconds.

While CG does not care about criticisms regarding his vision - and this remains true - the dialogue for Anya will be softened somewhat for the silver release. This was already posted on the discord days ago, and was to due with just what you pointed out, he got a bit carried away during the sex scene and pushed her dialogue too far in comparison to her current development, even taking the alcohol into account.

She has not changed in a matter of seconds, it was supposed to be a reflection of a combination of her being drunk + horny in the moment, but indeed some level of adjustment is being done.

In terms of Maki, I think she's a switch more than a true dom. I do think she maybe should have played a bit more hard to get, I enjoy the tug of war for control myself. But there's room for that in future scenes hopefully.

Ye I don't even think Maki changed or anything, for me she remained totally on character, very intense. It's not because she pushes around her little brother and her little sister that she has to be sexually dominant all the time with everyone. Especially because as you mentioned, a lot of doms are switch.
Regarding Anya maybe it was a bit fast so it's more debatable. But honestly it didn't shock me or anything, because alcohol is a common tactic from authors to make characters do bold stuff. Once again, I don't mind being surprised and I don't think a story has to follow a clear predictible pattern. Even irl, sometimes things change quickly, sometimes they don't. Shy girls can be surprising sometimes.
Well, whatever.
I'm looking forward to the rest of the story!

I actually did enjoy the update. Yes, the blowjob scene could use a little overhaul considering Anya went a bit overboard, but other than that I thought it was good. I'm a sucker for good writing (talking proper English, terminology, syntax) and the game has made so much progress on that front with every passing chapter.

The bar scene with Anya + Maki for example had some proper girl talk. It felt authentic and believable. Most developers have a hard time coming up with good dialogue for female characters in particular but here I can actually enjoy their conversations without feeling like it was written by a 12 year old horndog. It's obviously still porn so some things are intentionally exaggerated, but good writing elevates any VN to new heights and way too many games lack any effort in that department. One of the many reasons why I do enjoy this game so much.

If I were to give any criticism, it would probably be the development time for this DLC. ~100 images in 2 months was really on the slower side of things. Hopefully that's just a minor hiccup and the rest of 2025 is gonna be as great as 2024 for this project.

It's a sex scene. It should be as hot as possible. It should almost break a character in a sex-induced haze. And then you can get a rebound in the other direction.

For dynamics to be extreme, you need to twist the character as hard as possible - into one direction, then into the other - until it almost breaks.
That's the staple rule of... every form of art?

For me, this scene could be even more extreme. As long as you keep in mind what the future scenes with both Anya and Maki would be - so the dynamics between characters will remain interesting in the future, and this scene won't be just The End of their journey.

Maybe you're right, my expectations are my problems. I just decided to whine a little. I mean, it's a porn game after all. I don't mind NTR in general, although I'm not a fan of the genre. The game just gave the impression of something original, and I wouldn't want it to turn into a typical cliché, where everything boils down to blacked/raceplay and female characters being corrupted in seconds. In general, my complaints probably make little sense considering what scene the game started with. As I said, my expectations are my problems. Despite everything, the style and art are gorgeous. This is generally the main trump card of the game, and after the developer started actively using animations, it became even better. I'll wait for the next update and see how the story develops. Either I'm wrong or the game is just not for me.

The latest update certainly wasn't as bad as you're making it out to be. Maki was already acting like a whore from the beginning of the game. And what 0 to 100 are you talking about? Anya has already been turned on by various events since the beginning of the game and it is clear that she is an inexperienced horny teenager girl. Such reactions are natural at this point of the game.

I completely agree.

The presence of great personalities, the believability of the story and relationships, and the avoidance of clichés are three major strengths of this game that have been handled really well.
But these three were significantly weaker in this update.
Not only you and I, but many others mentioned this in the previous pages as well.

However, based on what’s been said on Discord, it seems the developer plans to fully address this issue in future updates. I’m not sure how, but I’m definitely curious.

Logically speaking, I also have a hard time understanding what is less believable, but since so many people seem to think this there must be something else. I think it's probably because it looks like a ntr cliché, that's what really bothers so many people. That's the real reason. Because so far nobody explained convincely what is really so illogical.
People are so fed up of ntr clichés, they don't want to see anything that looks like what they have seen too many times (and in games that often have absurd stories).
But for me it's an overreaction here, in this particular case. I just hope whatever modifications the dev will do, is really because he believes it improves the storyline (I'm ok with that), and not just to please the crowd.

Overall, a pretty good update. I liked the story, and the scenes. I loved the animation too. Nice touch.

I updated my incest patch, and took care of the non-kids lines. So, I'll present what I changed the lines to:

While I could definitely see him call her "mom" out of habit or familiarity, so far he has also called her by her name.
