I don't think I've ever seen a female love interest get that level of intentional gaslighting from an antagonist this early in a game. I love Asuna.

Yes. MC's real parents being dead is a major plot point. There is no way to make an "easy" incest patch, as you'll have to rewrite the game's entire script for it to wotk.

It's not really important, in eroge games it's only mentioned that the parents died to provide a justification for legal "incest".. it's not Vinland Saga where the death of Thorfin's father is something important.
The dev is doing his to not get stabbed by Patreon and to not lose the vainilla fans, since because of them he basically completely changed the script, so there's no excuse to "rewrite" the script again to make the job of an incest mod easier.
