dose anyone have a full save file of the latest game version with all the outfits and scenes unlocked? I've started to get annoyed to start every time a new game.

are there repeatable scenes and or some kind of charakter arc? i remember trying an earlier build, mostly crawling around airvents, solving puzzles and not achieving much.
That depends...
There's a gallery. Also, you can be "defeated" many times, IIRC.
And "character arc"? Are you talking about story things and alike? Well... The game does have a story, and the protagonist does become more depraved over time thanks to the exposition to the lust inducing spores. But we still don't have any Tolkien here.
I dont wanna keep look at my protagonist ding dong when hes running, a female is way hotter
Hotter for you. Just saying: hot male protags exists for way more reasons than self insert or military propaganda. Not that I like them, but this is also a market to be explored by the corps, so if you ever fall among them and you find "hot girl on the cover" way too full, know that there are alternatives.

Alright.

It's been about 4 or 5 updates so now I feel comfortable enough to post this.
I've not once been able to run this game. It opens, plays the opening cutscene, and then as soon as the camera POV switches to show the backside of our MC, the whole thing freezes. Not just the game, but it also crashes my PC itself.

I'm running a 3060 on Win10, I can run most current gen games... but not this one. I have tried every combination of settings under the sun to try and get this working. I've, multiple times now, deleted the game and re-downloaded it, tried several Compatibility Mode settings, and even waited out several updates and tried each one, to no avail.

I have terabytes of space left, and 16GB of RAM. I'm... really struggling to see what the issue may be. Is it a filename issue? Perhaps the path is too long or something and the game hangs after trying to auto-write a file after the cutscene ends? It's in a folder nested deep on an external HDD, so I guess it's not completely impossible. Only thing is that several other games do the same and run just fine, within the same directory.

Is there some sort of crashlog I can defer to that'll tell me exactly what the issue is? I have DX9, 10, 11 & 12, all up-to-date. I'm at a complete loss. Which really sucks because I wanna try this game out and have wanted to do so for the better part of a year now.

Filename are rather short so does not seems to be the case, you can lunch the game just the title screen fine?
I guess trying a savefile would be useless to see if at other point in the game it could work...
Did you check the discord prompt to see if they have a Bug/Trouble shooting section?
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
Do you have the task manager running to see how much the Ram or GPU or CPU goes up or down when lunching the game?
Sorry i don't have a clue
You may find a crash log in there: AppData\Local\ParasiteInside

Ah, you know what? I'd assumed, this whole time, that perhaps it was crashing from GPU or CPU usage. Looking at the Task Manager report, the physical Memory being used skyrockets to about 1GB/s, while all other levels appear nominal.

Checking in the appdata folder, unfortunately no crashlogs save into the designated log folder, likely because the game itself will not terminate on its own, despite being shown as "not responding" in Task Manager. I've left it alone for hours before and it will continue to play music and hang until I close it via Task Manager myself.

Thanks for the discord link, I'll check that out as well.

EDIT: Actually, looking at it, it seems the CPU skyrockets, levels out, and then leads into the Memory hitting a fever pitch before killing itself.
Monitoring Task Manager shows that the ParasiteInside.exe program isn't the one having issue, it's the ParasiteInside-Win64-Shipping.exe, located in the ParasiteInside\Binaries\Win64 path.

CPU fluctuates between 66 and 90, and the .exe displays "Not Responding" in Task Manager quite a few times throughout the cutscenes, but always seems to work itself out UP UNTIL the moment the game allows for the player to move. When I'm lucky, I can move around for maybe 5-10 seconds before it freezes and commits to the "Not Responding" state. The Memory usage is reported from the ...Shipping.exe file.

This information probably doesn't help anyone in this thread since I don't see anyone else having crashing issues but I figured I'd put it here anyway

That suck ngl.
It was indeed a great scene and a good developpement. In a horror story some bad guys would kill to make you understand they are dangerous, in a sex game they rape to make you understand the same thing (pretty straight foward). It was simple and effective story telling, all while having a great sex scene.

that scene was the stiffest, blandest, most robotic sex scene i've ever seen rofl. It was terribly animated.
