low res blurry mess with ghosting and tearing. That's a serious bug compared to the crisp and snappy animation of the last version I played.
At least to me, the game sometimes loads them fine, sometimes crashes at random; it may take multiple attempts.the game is so buggy I can't even load saves I made in 1.7
Both the attach script and manually attaching to the process with the table open crashes Cheat Engine. I didn't even know that was possible.A better table made for v1.7, when a new version is shipped, I'll make it more universal. Various options and pointers.
Activate the script after attaching, then press ESC key in game (pause/resume), that should find the pointer.

If anyone wants to look at the new content and also have access to the console you can use the debug exe (I assume it's a debug exe) from the 1.6.1 zip. You just need to drag it over. Fixes the blurry texture issue and allows console use again. New content from this update seems to work fine more or less as well.

Move that exe to the 1.7 version and launch through that.

Something that is used for your graphic card. You are likely missing a software from Microsoft. You will need the C++ to make it work.I can't even play it, keeps saying that I need something called Microsoft C++

EDIT: While this does fix the blurry textures and console usage keep in mind there are still other bugs though that seem unrelated to using the 1.6.1 exe.
Sometimes enemies show up with inverted colors. Usually when they overlap with something.
Octopus enemies no longer trigger their take down along with needing to be at a low enough health pool to even get hypnotized by them. Basically try to avoid them cause you'll get soft locked.
Flies bug out during the fight animation but it should fix itself after a bit.
Tentacle flower enemies no longer grab the player. They just hit you forever. They can also knock the player sprite out of bounds. If this happens sleep in a bed and that will fix it.
Sometimes when you get sent to the bug nests you'll get soft locked. Keys to free yourself don't do anything.
There's probably others.
Really sucks how much trouble this game is cause the art is really nice and the gameplay is simple but interesting enough. I just don't know why someone would pick Unreal engine for a 2d sprite project like this.
