I don't think this is true since PV content is still going to be made post this next update, he offered refunds and his patreon made much more money and growth when he did smaller more frequent chapters and What ifs.

The hassle of typing the letter R? Lol. He has been up front about everything. The teasers. The status updates. For those who have been subbed to him for a long time it's well worth it to them the only ones throwing hissy fits are the one month subs who think they are entitled to content right now. Stuff comes up. We know this dev is a work horse and it IS the ending of the game being the last chapter and all so he wants it done right.

A refund that everybody knows most people won't ask for. I guarantee you his income will drop significantly after this update is released. Most people won't be as invested to get additional endings as soon as possible.
Maybe I'm wrong but waiting so long to announce the delay was clearly something. There's absolute no way he didn't know he wouldn't make it in time if the delay is for a couple of months at least.
Too early for April Fools, and a shithead wouldn't be offering refunds.

he has released 12 updates in 7 years. and 6 of those updates were within the first 2-2.5 years try not to spill all that water your carrying for him.

That's a silly assumption to make. Why wouldn't those who subbed solely to play the update not ask for a refund? I'm thinking he wants the last chapter of the game to end differently than what he previously thought out months ago. The game is a passion project of his he doesn't want to release half-assed work. Also life stuff happens suddenly so there's also that.

I just checked my billing history and I gave him 135 dollars so far. Maybe having a Patreon is surely the most dangerous job in the world. Who knows ?

Ya this isn't great already 15 months between beta releases. I get missing a deadline but by months seems crazy.

All you did was give an update timeline that translates into nothing. What does the frequency of updates of PV have to do with people being angry feeling cheated that he won't release an update this month? Spend your money how you want we are all adults here, but alot of his subs are investing in the game as a whole because they enjoy it and would like to see the creator prosper and continue to be able to create.

It shows nobody should be surprised he delayed yet another update but what did surprise me was the length of the delay, He posted 15 days ago and in his last status update said it was deffo coming in March, There is no fucking way he underestimated his workload by months rather than days -couple weeks. so he knew in advance the update wasn't coming but only confirmed that in the last day or two?

He knew when he typed that status update, it's not coming this month and he still choose to bait people to buy more time for him.
And here is a bigger question, what guarantees he will release the update in a couple of ((month)) ??
He said at least, btw, which could range from 6 to 12 months. Good luck with that. Anyone who's still willing to trust him and wait for all that time have no one to blame but themselves.
