I'm huffing some hopium with this but there is always the chance he said it would take 5-7 days for the refund to process knowing that the update would be out for April 1st and everyone that messages him R will get a link for it instead along with an April fools wallpaper. I can't really explain the discrepancy between the last update and the current TBD otherwise.

That's something i was discussing too. That this is too strange for WWG. He has given early warnings if the game was going to be delayed. Especially saying it will be out in march, when the game would be months away from ready. I want to say he's trolling us for an april 1st release.

there's a way he can release it both april 1st and march 31st. He lives east coast. When it turns april 1st, he can april fools prank, but the rest of the US will still be in march 31st.

Could be a stretch and his post could still be real, but i just find it strange. Mostly because WWG never said "TBD" on a release date. Repeating myself here, but he has always known with good estimate when he is going to be finishing his update. To have an unexpected slowdown near the end and that add months to the development? I'm not buying it.

Why do you arbitrarily get to set the minimum to 6 months? what facts can you point to, to make you say "when he says at least a couple months, he means 6 minimum"? Why can't it be 2 months? Where are you pulling your statistics from? every delay he has had has only been a few days. His longest delay was 1 month and that one he gave us notice ahead of time. So how can you pull 6 months out of nowhere when there's never been a precedence for it before?

Yeah, i agree that if the game still needed a few months, he probably knew for a while that the update wasn't going to be ready for march. You're acting like he's been lying to us time and time again. We are suppose to "stop trusting him" because in the 5 years of making PV, he messed up big time once? Please, tell me 1 dev who hasn't. WWG doesn't mess up on a consistent basis to be called "untrustworthy".

First, he said a couple in my experience, that's around 3 or 4 if it was less than that he would have clearly said as two month delay.
Secondly, he said ((at least)) so those 3 4 months could go easily to 5 or 6 months, hope that's clear enough for you ??

And now let me ask you this, if you have GF and she kissed some other guy and lied about it for ((ONE) time only, would you trust her again knowing hey this girl lied to me only once, I surely can trust her again, right ??

Bro, he straight up lied knowing he won't update it this month why should I or anyone else belive him again, It's not an exucxue if other developer did it,that just means they are shit too simple as that,It's basic humen behver btw if someone lie to me I tend to not trust him.

Im mad about the delay but am more mad bec he was lying for at least the whole last month or two when he is not even that close to getting it finish and you should be mad too.

Not as crazy as you might think.

Writing takes a ton of time to do. If he left all the writing till after he was done making renders and animations (a mistake I've made before). Then he's got this massive wall of work that can and will suck the life out of you to get through.

again, how did he treat his fans? you're acting like he pulled a malicious scheme years in the making. He had a delay in release of his game. calm down bro. I'm not trying to underplay that this delay is a big one, but again, it's ONE delay. The mistake is the lie, don't try to split it into two and oversell it. I also don't think it's normal. I said it before, this delay is unusual, even for him. I even said it myself in a post, I don't like the fact it got delayed. I think you're the odd one out on the one that thinks the dev won't be understanding or forgiven.

This dev has been making PV for 5 years now. He has been CONSISTANT with his update. Before anyone says "but updates got longer!!!". They still came out with the amount of content to show for it. People who have been here long enough have seen the dev been consistent.

He use to gives teasers 3 times a month, with 6+ teasers in each post. Look at any other game here, seriously, any other game. They post teaser images once a month with maybe ONE image. Some don't post any images. Some just post Proof of life that they are still alive and working on the game. WWG is out here showing us 20+ images a month and what scene he's working on.

His delays, when he got them are also because he tried making predictions months in advance when he THINKS an update is going to be ready. To only delay them by a few days is not something he should have been attacked for.

Then there's you. You want us to all turn on him by saying he should not be forgiven and he's lying to all of us. That's the thing about a dev that has been here this long. He actually earned his trust and a mistake once isn't going to suddenly make everyone turn on him. It hurts his credibility, not destroys it.

I can think of many BIG devs that make way more then WWG does and they actually lie and take advantage of people. Milfy City anyone?

I agree that WWG is among the good guys in the developers here I never said he is bad or he is used to delaying updates stop putting your own words in my mouth.

We don't know if he for sure if he actually thought he could get it out by the end of this month. He could have thought if he we slept less and worked more, it could be possible and only realizing now that it was not possible. On the 15th he could have still believed it was possible.
