That's something i was discussing too. That this is too strange for WWG. He has given early warnings if the game was going to be delayed. Especially saying it will be out in march, when the game would be months away from ready. I want to say he's trolling us for an april 1st release.

I struggling to figure out how he could be this far behind, there are like 20+ teasers already. Two months behind on writing seems crazy.

Not as crazy as you might think.

Writing takes a ton of time to do. If he left all the writing till after he was done making renders and animations (a mistake I've made before). Then he's got this massive wall of work that can and will suck the life out of you to get through.

First, he said a couple in my experience, that's around 3 or 4 if it was less than that he would have clearly said as two month delay.
Secondly, he said ((at least)) so those 3 4 months could go easily to 5 or 6 months, hope that's clear enough for you ??

Say you need to write a report in black ink. you carry black and blue ink in your bag. you start by writing your name at the top and noticed you used blue ink on accident. I used to support him before I really liked the game and I like WWG he was a chill guy in the few convo we had,that doesn't change the fact this is still a lie, and he should b ashamed of the way he treated people and the fans who trusted him and his words.

again, how did he treat his fans? you're acting like he pulled a malicious scheme years in the making. He had a delay in release of his game. calm down bro. I'm not trying to underplay that this delay is a big one, but again, it's ONE delay. You suddenly think he's the worlds enemy and (purely as an example of the hatred you hold for him) slept with you wife.

The mistake is the lie, don't try to split it into two and oversell it. I also don't think it's normal. I said it before, this delay is unusual, even for him. I even said it myself in a post, I don't like the fact it got delayed. I think you're the odd one out on the one that thinks the dev won't be understanding or forgiven.

This dev has been making PV for 5 years now. He has been CONSISTANT with his update. Before anyone says "but updates got longer!!!". They still came out with the amount of content to show for it. People who have been here long enough have seen the dev been consistent.

He use to gives teasers 3 times a month, with 6+ teasers in each post. Look at any other game here, seriously, any other game. They post teaser images once a month with maybe ONE image. Some don't post any images. Some just post Proof of life that they are still alive and working on the game. WWG is out here showing us 20+ images a month and what scene he's working on.

His delays, when he got them are also because he tried making predictions months in advance when he THINKS an update is going to be ready. To only delay them by a few days is not something he should have been attacked for.

Then there's you. You want us to all turn on him by saying he should not be forgiven and he's lying to all of us. That's the thing about a dev that has been here this long. He actually earned his trust and a mistake once isn't going to suddenly make everyone turn on him. It hurts his credibility, not destroys it.

I can think of many BIG devs that make way more then WWG does and they actually lie and take advantage of people. Milfy City anyone?

I agree that WWG is among the good guys in the developers here I never said he is bad or he is used to delaying updates stop putting your own words in my mouth.

We don't know if he for sure if he actually thought he could get it out by the end of this month. He could have thought if he we slept less and worked more, it could be possible and only realizing now that it was not possible. On the 15th he could have still believed it was possible.

I feel bad for new players who come across this game and getting a Game of Thrones situation and not the one they had intended on getting.

A few months DOES sound too farfetched for it to not be an April fools prank, and the whole family troubles since December as far as I remember the dude hasn't ever aluded to something like that, so to just use it NOW right on dead line?

BUT if this is true and the delay is truly for a few months, then the 'cry babies' and all the like are 100% right. Then again I've said it a few times already, the only way the dev is getting money out of me is with a steam release so that's why I'm just giving my 2 cents that I'm leaning more for a prank.

He knew the game wouldn't be ready in March, but he hid it to continue receiving his payment. In a way, it's a scam. He's had extensions and extensions since January, and now he comes out at the end of the month to say the update isn't ready. I think he's just stretching it as much as he can to continue his golden goose. I'm really disappointed with this latest news and I think everyone should cancel their subscriptions to see if he's really going to continue with the extensions.

If it turns out to be an April Fool's joke, I think it's in very bad taste.
