The macOS version is totally broken and I can't rebuild it in renpy. Not with the win version, not with the Mac version. is there any way so solve my issue. I don't even have an error log since the game won't start at all. earlier versions worked just fine.

Without a WT-MOD this game is unplayable.
That's kinda an unreasonably generalized statement. Just because you find the AVN "unplayable" in it's normal state doesn't mean the majority of players find it unplayable. Its playable, but, like many AVNs, you can't get all the content on one play-through.

Completely agree with you but it also reveals that Classy Lemon is an intelligent and organized person and that they planned well since the beginning what they wanted to deliver, smaller chunks of content per update but with high quality, a light story with a few more drama/heavy/more depth events but not that often, humor and a light sci-fi space opera that is usually the easier way to make space operas. Not all space operas stories can be like The Expanse or Battlestar Gallactica heavy sci-fi narratives that rely more on realism, some are like Star Wars or Firefly with silly humor and it is also a good recipe for success.

This way of 3-5 months per updates and episodes/chapter also keeps the fans and supporters more engaged with the development what brings even more supporters and a more reliable funding way to ensure that the proje(k)t is finished. But each game/developer knows how much they can make their supporting base wait and keep them satisfied anyway.
I don't disagree. I was just stating why some games takes so long between updates while our favorite citrus fruit can deliver more frequently (that's the keyword, "frequently" not "faster"), and that complains about long dev cycles are generally just thoughtless whining.

Yep they are, I'm a very patient person mostly from what I learned from my profession in the area of Quality in the last 30 years, so I'm aware of different strategies of delivery of products and their steps (Research-Planning-Development and testing-Release of product/Selling, in resume is that), being them material or "virtual", and from that experience I realize that some indy game developers "eat more than they can chew" being from more than expected rendering/animations to do with the hardware/software they have or by so much branching in the game/story that it becomes more complex than they were expecting, they don't plan for unexpected events and only realize the mistake later when the workload becomes so much that they get (I believe some do) in constant stress related to the pressure of deliver in a timely manner and then the product quality decreases due to those reasons and usually the cause is subpar planning.

But all of that is completely normal, many are doing this for not that long and they will learn by experience it if they survive the wild competitive market that "porn games" already is. Having a team and more/better hardware/software makes some of that all much easier but most are solo developers with very limited budgets. But Classy Lemon, nope, seems like they were doing this for long and planned very well (and I'm saying this only from an observing point of what I see and read on this site, I don't follow AVNs besides this forum) and they know their strong points that is writing and visuals and their weakness since they mention once, that is the coding part hehe but I bet they learned a lot also on that area already since the beginning of the journey that I'm glad to see it grow.

I'll keep it short, everyone said it better already : another killer update, that Lemon is definitely classy.
Favourite scene was Zal'Ren managing to call apparently the entire quadrant by just ordering a pizza, my sides still hurt. Also the declarations of love with every character, that was so sweet and touching, loved it so much
Now I really can't wait for season 3 ; big Kudos and thanks to the Classy Lemon

This, I don't entirely agree. No doubt some scenarios are like that. But most of the time, I don't think it's a matter of "planning" well. Rather, it's a matter of staying "disciplined" and not go overboard with stuff that adds little to no value to the overall game. Basically, focus on moving the plot forward instead of the "I will do all of what I want to do regardless of timeline" mentality.

You just described what can be considered "planning", being "disciplined" is an important part of it.

Is anyone else getting 2 background music playing simultaneously with version 0.14 like just enjoying it and there's this one track that's ominous playing continually through every scene even in chill moments with another background track that's clearly the correct one playing as well? It's really throwing me off

I'd have to look back in the forum but I think the solution was to rollback a few screens after loading a save until the music stopped and then going forward it should be fine. That said, I'm paraphrasing, so I'd still suggest looking a few pages back.

Here we go again with the false equivalence of a release from dev A is the same amount of work as a release from dev B.

Don't get me wrong. I love Classy Lemon's work. But try adding up how much is delivered over the same timespan as those other "long cycle" games and you'll realize that no, Lemon isn't really delivering faster. He's just delivering more frequently in smaller chunks.

In fact, just about all devs deliver less in the same timespan as that other infamous dessert dev's "it's taking over a year" game.

Which way is better? That's a personal preference.
That's not entirely true. Classy delivers in smaller chunks than SOME devs which helps with the faster updates. however there are many devs who deliver a lot less than what he delivers in a single update (or the same amount of content) and take a year or more to do so. There are also some devs who deliver updates in the same time period as Classy and it's blink and you miss it fast. I know people hate the complaining about dev times, but Classy's skills in this area do deserve praise in my opinion.

Anyhow probably shouldn't say anymore before the off-topic police arrive. lol. Great update as I said before.

The word you guys are all looking for to describe Lemon man is "professionalism"

Now I dunno what his day job is, or living situation, and it's absolutely none of my business. But there is clearly a workflow that includes hiring and paying VAs on top of getting renders and writing done at regular frequency. Either he treats it as a job or he's done professional work in a similar vein before. Or both!

Allison has been growing on me over the last few updates and I'm really glad she got her moment. Glad to see her personality starting to shine through a bit as we get to know her and like her. Sad Loki didn't make an appearance but can't have it all. Great update and things finally kicking into 5th gear now in terms of the story.

Well, I suppose we define "planning" differently then. All the good planning in the world will not help if one decides to stray from it after. That's "discipline". To me those are 2 very different things.

End of a act and the start of another with a full war against the Deep Ones.

It is late he so i will just say i loved the animations, specially Sandra's sex scene with the really great attention to the facial expressions and that very cinematic action sequence.

Will try to make a more detailed post later.

The "i love you" with Kaylee was simply perfect for this mc lmao

Good point to bring it up and at the same time circumvent having to react to the statement that shes as much of a badass gunslinger than the mc :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
