Here we go again with the false equivalence of a release from dev A is the same amount of work as a release from dev B.
Don't get me wrong. I love Classy Lemon's work. But try adding up how much is delivered over the same timespan as those other "long cycle" games and you'll realize that no, Lemon isn't really delivering faster. He's just delivering more frequently in smaller chunks.
In fact, just about all devs deliver less in the same timespan as that other infamous dessert dev's "it's taking over a year" game.
Which way is better? That's a personal preference.
You might be right, but you know with Project passion, I actually download and play every update. and with every update the I feel like it was worth my time to actually play the update.
With every update, the story moves forward, you get at least on full lewd scene and a couple of very sexy short scenes thrown in as well. And every update is packed with the quality we come to expect.
Not putting other games down, but with a lot of other games, I feel like I wasted time to download 3 Gb update, and then it's all over in 5 minutes and nothing happened. That is why for most games I wait a few updates before I play it. I have even downloaded a new version (Especially sandbox), then started playing and eventually wonder, what was new in this update.
TLDR; Classy Lemon's updates are frequent and consistent, and the content is always enough and of good quality that you don't feel like you wasted time to download and play an update. There are truly not a lot of developers where I can say the same for the same development cycle. So, a congratulations from me is in order.
P.S. I'm not putting down other devs. There are a few slow developers that's writing excellent games. One just needs to be patient and wait a bit to enjoy their games, but I feel let's give credit where it's due.
