Even if the story goes as you claim, it would make zero sense, why back down when the cop has nothing against him and then go full throttle against him when he does have evidence against him? It would destroy the character integrity.

Also, i would bet that Glenn ends up injuring the MC in some way, repeating a mistake already made before in Polarity.

The thing is, it is irrelevant if Glenn Arc is as bad as we think, because the problem is that its already bad for the story and that wont change, the best possible outcome is that it gets taken out quickly, and then it would have been a waste of valuable time and resources for nothing

They also really need the support if we want to see updates more frequently because SirD was saying on Discord that if they could hire one other person to help out with the game, then they could probably release a new update every 3 months, and that's even with the 2 of them working on their own games.

To be fair, there are stories out there of off-duty cops harassing their neighbours, and there was that prolific one a couple of years ago of Amber Guyger who shot and killed her neighbor Botham Jean for no reason, but it is actually against police regulations to wield their power when off-duty and it's therefore technically illegal. So right there, the MC has a potentially swift resolution by either reporting them or even just asking to see their warrant card which an off-duty cop would't have on them and effectively making them powerless.

Honestly this is one game I wanted to support after release 1, but I wanted to see how long it would take for the next. On the first release it shot very high up on my list of top games, replacing all of those I do support bar one. But that said I won't support any dev that takes more than 2 months to release an update and won't support one that will not focus on the one I'd want to support. So till those two things change I won't, though I might consider the buy a coffee route after each update.

They are earning a lot of money between their games and he is still asking for more money to "hire" another person? They should have that money already with all that they earn, that's just being greedy. Also the update should be always in 3 months, you have even said it yourself in many of your post, now that they have no problems it should take the normal time to update which is 3 months, so if they say they need more money to update the game in 3 months is BS.

About the cop, the things that is wrong is how he was introduced, no one would give their id or anything to a guy that says he is a "cop" without showing his badge and without you doing anything illegal and what is worse being in your property, so it was a bad writen character, people gave the criticism, and they still ignore it, because they have plans for him, but also says that he isn't that importat to the story, so consider me confused.

I know, but how many stories are of people being harassed by cops, accepting the harassment and then when that same cop has true evidence against them they go against them?

That is my point, if he doesnt confront the cop when the cop is doing something against the law and has no ground agains the MC, why would he confront them wen the cop does have?

It makes the MC character personality inconsistent

I was really enjoying this game then.... the Cop turned up what a waist of time, stupid part of the story, the rest of the story line is good dealing with 3 daughters and a grieving Mother and the life around is job, the Dev should stick to that otherwise the game is like any other.

On my signature 1 of those games guy took very long for update,but the thing that he wrote all his Patrons an email saying why,he had personal issues(friend passed away) and we all supported him.I'll support any game where the dev will communicate with their Patrons,will not support a game where they just want to milk the cow
