One could argue about the exact same with the next 'character' update....you want updates quicker or longer? You're rarely going to get both....
Weird that "the politician" and the MC have the same phone same profile pic and must have the same phone number but Chloe doesn't know? Also weird you come home , your house is trashed, Bob says come see him, you say ok and instead you go on a date. Also you see the pics of dude you saw in your office and what looks like Bob, the gas station guy says 80% sure its him and you get irate with Emily? and Emily was able to get the outside camera footage but the other cameras are so off limits that you wonder how she got the first camera footage? The game is good, the girls are hot, but halfway through the game goes off the rails, the game needs transition scenes in many places to make it understandable, some scenes I was like Huh? What is going on now? Did I skip something? How is a night of no stress, breaking into a run down building, to immediately jump the fire escape and run off? Like I said good game , it just needs some coherency

Hm... It's starting to become annoying. Instead of making actual game content, Dev focus on pathes tree. Which already have too many branches with a lot of skipping content (2/3 or some).
Not sure adult game need so much focus on story instead of visual content. Version already 0.9 and there are barely two sex scenes? Looks strange. And replay full game for rarely new content...

Who played this recently, since its 0.9, its close to the finish? I havent played since 0.3 i think, i wouldnt want to play 0.9 now if it finishes at 1.0
After 0.9 comes 0.10 not 1.0, it's not anywhere near finished.
That is not how Math works, or even software version numbering convention works.
Game might be far from finished, but 1.0 definitely follows 0.9.
0.10 is just 0.1.

Agreed I would be really surprised to find the next episode is the finale. Your numbering logic is flawed, however. It would in fact be 1.0 in a straight sequence. If not the finale I'd expect a number like 0.91, or something on that order. Or the developer could have a season strategy. If the next release were to be 1.0, he could go on to 1.1, etc. until he reaches 2.0, and so on. Without first hand knowledge of a particular developer's numbering strategy there are way too many options to analyze where the game is in progress simply by the release number.

It's not my numbering logic, it's just one that is widely used here... and on steam(not just for AVNs) and various other places.
It does lead to people being misled and personally i think V9>V10 would be more logical vs 0.x
I'd be surprised if he's going for seasons since in game he has chapters(that aren't tied to version numbers, i believe we are in chapter 3 now).

This had so much potential, but it's all sizzle and no steak. Teasing is fine, but when the game is 85% tease that's a problem. The MC is an idiot and I don't see how he survived long enough to potentially have an 18 year old daughter. I cannot stand an MC that has zero common sense. They can make bad choices and wrong assumptions, but come on. Writing that thinks its clever, but is really just lazy.

Chloe is popular. The only reason I can think of why she's getting too much focus is there's a chance she's the daughter.

That's funny. Game is barely started. Games fall into 2 main update numbering conventions, and the fractional-up-to-1.0-complete is far less common than the devs using number & decimal patterns more as 'text titles' than anything close to numerically accurate.
This is not math or software versioning - it is artistic types creating AVN stories, and in art there are no rules.

Doesn't make a lot of narrative sense to me though. How would MC's mom have known about her if it was a secret kept from MC? Don't think Mom seems like the kind of person who woould keep that secret from MC all these years (or at all). For it to be a complete coincidence...that would be statistically absurd.

I assumed the post was meant from the POV of a non-patched player where maybe she was adopted and we just don't know that yet. The complexities of making patched and non-patched versions work together in the same game make it unlikely, but she is in the right age range, so i was surprised the idea never crossed my mind.
