If one buys on Steam is Steam update same day/date as Patreon or is this going to be a delayed update like some do?

I doubt it has "new" content as in progress to the story, latest update wasn't that long ago. Maybe a bit of spit and polishPage 69....

I would also like to add that if you decide to add wallpapers as DLC on Steam later on, I'd gladly throw my money at it.

Congrats on the Steam release! Bought it today and will post a review later.
Two things, though:
1. Won't a save issue arise between the Steam and non-Steam versions? I loaded an old save file and it worked and unlocked the achievement. They seem to share the same files and this could cause some problems if I play the game which gets released here?
2. Is the achievement description correct?
