I don't understand how the quality can drop so much between games. The first one had some pretty hot angles and animations. Thanks for the info.

I know it's a small thing, but I really am not a fan of developers feeling like they have to throw away some (or all, depending) of my preference settings with a new version of their game. I see no good reason to change, for instance, the speed that text displays in the game. I don't want the "typing text" speed of 20% or whatever. I want text instantly displayed. What, pray tell, is the point of forcing that to be slower than a salted slug crawling uphill through a pool of molasses in the middle of a blizzard in February?

Seriously, why? Again, I know it's not the end of the world, but this type of nonsense is pointless. At least saves aren't broken, so there's that....

Well, I fired up the ol' brain cells and checked the prequel page. A research depth of one, as opposed to zero, as most people seemingly do.

If you want to play it is best to do it without reading the forums here, and do not put labels or hide it, to attract likes, or be noticed (not all are like that, just some.)
Just as many will say they do not like it and others that if, it is best that everyone has their own experience, but with respect for others. Although more than anything, it is a little respect for the developer.

Haven't played this yet but I can give you a colossal fact; none of the girls in the screenshots look like Sara from part 1.

I "love" how Nightaku just keeps digging himself in deeper making most of his characters worse and less likable. With 0.5, Amanda, Mike's wife who Sara cheated on the MC with behind his back in Part 1 (and still hasn't told him about), has a sex scene with some rando dude while the MC peeps on them. It's also implied that she will sleep with men to advance Mike's political ambitions, which just makes her Mike's whore with slightly more steps. This also makes her interactions with Sara in Part 1 significantly worse.

At this point, quite literally the only girl we know enough to make a judgment on and who is still likable is Annie. I'm playing each update more out of morbid curiosity now, honestly, and in the hopes that when the MC and Annie finally consummate their attraction, that it's nicer than Nightaku's usual kinda boring sex scenes. Also, that it actually finishes instead of cutting midway through like most of them have.

Hell, Demba's more likable than most of the women in this game.

For fun, I went through the entire list of all women who've appeared in either game so far, and I stand by my assessment above.

I heavily get the feeling that Nightaku — at least for most if not all of the development of both games — writes the story by the seat of his pants. Whatever comes to him he puts in the game, which then also is possibly colored by comments from his supporters. In any case, the story has weaved around and around throughout both games. It does seem like he's somewhat more focused in this sequel, but the weaving still happens.
