Skipping wouldn't really solve anything, if it still happens, even if it's not seen, then it still ruins the game for many people. An option to stop it happening entirely is what it would take to save this game, and likely the sequel, for many of us. Though an option to avoid can functionally be very similar to a skip option, just add some dialogue that has the MC say they aren't comfortable with Shandy fucking other LI's, don't play the scenes where she does, and don't have anyone mention anything relating to having sex with Shandy. It would, of course, mean either a lot of skipped content that involves Shandy, like the potential harem orgy, or a lot more work for the Dev to make an alternate scene without her, or a lot of editing to cut out the parts of the scene that have Shandy involved with others.

The low rating is most likely due to Dev changing his mind several times. First he said that certain scenes could be avoided, then that they could be skipped, but now they will be unavoidable.

I'm not talking about the scenes at all, I like the character models, simple gameplay, the plot is really cliched,animations are not bad, there's enough content in the game for several updates. The game is not as bad as it was rated, although of course this is my personal opinion.

So, I played the latest update. I liked it, for the most part. The only complaint I really have is that the sex scene with Yuko was very rushed. She lost her virginity to MC while he was asleep, and we only got to see the very end of it when he woke up about to cum. She had previously mentioned she used toys for penetration, so I wasn't expecting a lot from her first time, but I was still pretty disappointed with the scene.

It definitely feels like Shandy and Yuko are going to hook up, since Shandy will be moving in with Yuko, Shandy has stated she's still into girls, and Yuko has a history of moving extremely fast. Yuko also told MC that she masturbates with multiple toys, while imagining being spitroasted, which definitely felt like a lead-in to her wanting to try it out for real.

I know it's a big no-no for most harem/incest fans, and I myself absolutely hate NTR/sharing/swinging/etc. with other male characters involved. However, I don't have a problem with any group sex where MC is the only male involved, and I consider trans women to just be women, regardless of their plumbing, so as long as MC knows about it, is okay with it, and/or is participating, I just consider it bi/les content within the harem, and I'm okay with that, personally.

I like the game, and so far, there is nothing really controversial in it. I'd recommend giving it a shot, because it has some good/hot content already. The trans character(Shandy) has barely been introduced and is very cute and sweet. All the family members are great, and lots of progress has already been made with them, so that's a big positive point, for sure.

Originally the trans character was going to have sex with one of the other characters without mc's presence, and without mc's prior knowledge.

But as this is something that seems not to like at all and only supposed a small change in some lines of dialogue without importance, that will no longer be so

The script of Shades of the past has been finished for a long time and there are not many more changes I can make, I changed some dialogues that were related to the subplot of mom and the relationship of the trans character with another character, that is, I suppressed the polygamy without mc's consent/presence since it didn't suppose any effort at plot level and they are minor things that don't affect the main story and they make people happy.

On the other hand, regarding the experience writing scripts, it was the first time I wrote something and I am fully aware that everything could have been done better, both at the plot level and in the renders/animations.

In fact, in version 0.7, (small advertising wedge: already available for patrons on patreon) the animations are substantially improved because I have changed the engine when making the animations, in 0.6 you can see that attempt to create real loops but, anyway, daz is very limited in that sense. But there is still room for improvement even having changed the engine, and obviously I will try to keep improving.

But anyway, there are things that from my innocence/unknowledge I did not take into account and could be better or different and obviously for next developments I have already learned important lessons in all senses.

Does this mean Shandy will still be with other LI's while the MC is present or is she not going to be involved with other LI's at all now? I'd gladly give the game another shot if she's not at all involved with other LI's or if her involvement is at least avoidable.

It’s strange that people are so worked up about this. It’s great that you’re improving your skills in writing and animation. I’ve always found the skip function in games to be enough, as many things are optional and don’t affect the story. I don’t focus on them.
