Why? Technically all the sex is consensual, because their minds have been altered to want it. You can argue that mind controlling someone into having sex with you constitutes as rape, but it is rather redundant, as the mind control tag already covers it.

When I see the rape tag, I expect to see a sexual act where the victim is against it in the moment, not that they would be against it if their minds hadn't been altered.

Seriously, I can't get enough of this game. Love the premise of mind control. What % of completion is it now? I feel like it's almost done? 12 girls in the harem with their quests complete, that's pretty huge.

Yeah there is no story to the game anymore, it needs to wrap up. The premise is done and without them constantly adding secondary girls because the original premise was flawed (to never revisit someone once they were 'done') there is no story to it anymore.

All the interesting women have been brainwashed long ago so now it's just the scraps and other than those who just like to see 3D models having sex, not much else to see here. The game has only gotten worse as time has gone on, especially with the decision to never include any of the already done women into anything in the future. I bet the game saw a huge decrease once that announcement was made and once the 'housemates' were corrupted.

Hi, I said that the game looks good, I downloaded it to try it because it says it's in Spanish, I wanted to see if it was true since I was thinking of buying it when it came out on Steam, but it's poorly translated into Spanish, several lines appear in English.

As far as I am aware the translated versions are one version behind the English one, so if you downloaded this here, you get old content in Spanish and new content in English, since the translation hasn't been made yet. Your only concern should be the quality of the translation, as it will eventually catch up and cover everything.

While valid that one would like to focus on the already completed women, it isn't entirely true to say that it won't include them at all in the future. This very update has a lot of Chloe and Sofia in it.

There's no doubt a rape tag is needed here. Consent can't be given by someone whose mind has been altered by you. That's the same as getting them drunk and then having sex.

The literal definition of rape is "against someone's will". When their mind has been altered, so has their will. Sometimes to the point where they have no will (the complete wipe in Shattered Minds). So no - no rape tag is needed. Mind control is completely sufficient to cover it.

Never like it and always try to avoid it in harem games/whenever I have the chance but with this update it went beyond just locking you out of certain mechanics (Harem move in) if you don't do the incest routes, now it's at the point where you can't pursue the main quest without it

One way to revitalize this is to choose one previous girl per update, and give the option to completely restore her awareness. Each scene would have to be rewritten with their real personality, but would still be managable if only one girl were done at a time.

Another direction, if more writing is too challenging, is to add a pet mode to one or two girls at a time, with new idle locations and one new sex act while believing themselves to be an animal.

But the no consent is already in the mind control tag and they do consent to the sex after having their minds altered, so the actual forcing happens in the mind controlling part.

It isn't the same as getting someone drunk, as consent isn't given or at the very least it can be taken back after sobering up.

I am not trying to defend mind control, it is an evil act (unless you have consent), but in terms of story and feel it is different and likely evoke a different response in people.

For me personally I don't see the rape tag as being right here, as the game don't have any instances of sex without consent. Let's look at it practically. Let's consider different types of people based on their likes:

MC+rape+ - would likely be disappointed in a rape tag, as they probably enjoy seeing people being forced against their will
MC+rape- - Would likely turn away from this game, because they don't like seeing people being forced, therefore they would likely miss out on a game they would like. I fall in this category I like MC, but don't like people being aware and against it without being able to stop it. Again I know in real life it isn't better than rape in any way, but I don't control my kinks.
MC-rape+ - Likely wouldn't play this game at all, unless they really likes rape and they will be severely disappointed
MC-rape- - Won't play this game.

Who exactly would benefit from the tag?
The only ones I could thing of would be people okay with mind control as long as it isn't used for sexual reasons. Seems like a very niche group to me and they can probably figure out that this game isn't for them even without trying it.

Did you start a new game? It is only in the beginning that you can set Sofie and Chloe's relationship to you. You can't set it to any other person, only the three of you can be family.
