Okay, I played it for half an hour. I really don't understand why it has sandbox elements if you can't actually choose what to do. Every time, things are locked behind a text like "I must talk to X first" or "I must check Y first." The game just forces the player to waste a lot of unnecessary clicks. Why not switch to a VN-style approach in parts where the sandbox isn't useful and focus on the sandbox when it actually adds value? It's an idea worth considering.
