10 endings! Yikes.

Could anyone share some insights on how big are the variations between different endings in the same path? For example, is it worth prioritizing Neutral A over Neutral C, or are they only small differences?

And will I be able to see all the different endings in in the gallery?

For the Neutral they have big changes,is not "i have 1 more character and some phrases""

But some are harder than others and you have the Normal Mercy A y B (You choose when you get that ,this 2 are similar)

About the Gallery is a no 100% ,you can search for them in youtube,i know someone who post them all if you want

And coming back to the endings is what you like more, idk where is it but someone put the guide for get the endings but idk where.......but is what you taste

For Genocide is needed to get 1 neutral ending,True Mercy not and if you have more questions say it,im not a pro and not a genius but i can help

Ah, welcome to hell.

In terms of endings, the game only has five major endings. With variance in Neutral and Genocide. As well as a special final ending post-game.

There is no way to view endings aside from doing them, so here is way I would suggest to play the game, personally:

Just do a run, you'll get some neutral ending, choose to kill who you want and choose to spare who you want.

Neutral A B and C all are similar, but also vary massively in the actual end result's progress. Because the endings are chosen by how far along something is. Which I won't spoil.

After that, its up to you to do Genocide or Mercy, though I'd personally recommend going for Mercy first.

After Mercy is TM, the canonical ending, and then you can do Genocide if you'd like.

Its very easy to skip Mercy which is my favorite of the alternate endings, so if after your neutral one you'd like to make sure you get Mercy before TM, use an assist.

In this game, every ending adds more pieces to the puzzle. With the exception of Genocide which brings in a whole new puzzlebox. The neutral endings are the least important to that puzzle, but you can totally get all three if you'd like.

You only need one of them to understand the story though.

Thanks UmekoMashimi and EvokedShadow. That is helpful, and enough for me to get started.

Probably, I will watch all the different neural endings, and mercy endings, on youtube before deciding the next route. Assuming I don't lose interest.

and when the game talks about monsters remembering a grudge, is that mostly for purpose of genocide route or are there other good reason to spare more monsters?

*Hero loses half the money and monster drop in exchange for +1 affection?*

and how much courageous spirit is required to lower corruption?

I'm not 100% sure of this myself since I've only heard it and never experienced it, but Affection is apparently much like Corruption, in that it's stored in the publicdata.rv2 file and is universal, affected by actions across all files. Killing demons apparently lowers their affection, making it harder to later spare them if you decide to abort genocide, as well as impacting your relationship with them in other files.
Again, not 100% sure of this, so I could just be lying for all I know, but I'm at least reasonably sure of this.

Spare all the demons and you get the good ending. Kill all the demons and you get the bad ending. It's quite literally as cut and dry as that. No moral nuance allowed. I will refrain from complaining about this, however, as it has already been discussed to death.

Afraid I can't help here, I've got no clue.

Np np and for lower your corruption from losing to demons you have 3 ways to do it

1.Fighting in the world and winning to them (Is a little hard from bosses)

2.Raising their affection to 99-100 and when you are max in "My Room" tell them to take off that corruption

3.Fighting with that box you get in My room and win

You can try the debug what it does nothing to me at last xD

Or

delete public data but it takes your progress too ha ha ha

PD:From that Grudge is if you do TM or Neutral but before in the same "Game"(Where you have the public.data and your game) you kill them you have their affection to -25 or -1 from your start of the next run

As people say this game is hard to get all endings in the same game if you not take that data out because is where you store your "Flags" that needed for that endings, don't heard about other people words about the routes and goas your heart desire

PD2:When you finish all routes you want or the 3 classic (Neutral,Genocide,True Mercy) you can try a mod for Genocide,is not finished but is good :3 <3

Spare the demons, kill the demons, thats a choice you should make without any other knowledge the first time.

Corruption works in 5 levels, one per defeat with Indulgence equipped, three per defeat without.

Others already explained how to remove Corruption.

If I had to say after arguing about this for a while and look at it from the other side.
I'd say for Kazuya himself. A quite literal and cannonical connection between player and character. My emotions about him aren't particularly strong, however in hindsight, knowing that even the slightest bit of killing seemingly prevents him from getting a good ending to his story which is blatantly cruel. If you analyze kazuya purely from an in-verse perspective as someone making the decisions, you can't really blame him as much as his own 'friends' do. You're awoken from a coma you didn't know you were in, the world has literally been flipped over and now you can only survive alone while you only have some mild guidance from your friend.
Defending himself by killing the monsters is 100% justifiable, i'll just simply say it like that, but that will always lead to bad outcomes, much to my displeasure.
So if you care even the slightest bit about him as his player, then I guess you have to help him reach a proper end.

Not to be pedantic but this isn't completely true. There are a few neutral endings which depend on how many demons you've killed. I'd say they're rather uninteresting compared to the pacifist and genocide routes, though, so it's true that those are the only two paths worth following, but there are more options if for whatever reason you want to take them.
