Just started, liking it so far, the opening helps in setting the scene and the MC and images are nice, not sure how an 18 year old from a small town gets lingerie like that and stripper heels but I'm along for the ride.

Mike have a bar, he's able to support her or she spends his money. The dev won't go in detail about every private and personal part of their life.That's what I'm talking about. You can't just play the lesbian way anymore. You are not given a choice.

I started playing again from a 2.0 save which worked fine. It brought up the store on the laptop where you can buy the collectibles, bought them all. Then I found a few more along the way while playing, went into the gallery to see which ones I'm missing and they were all black and white. I started seeing that I could pick them all up again, except for the ones from the laptop, which still show as bought and aren't there and are also not in the gallery anymore either. Anyone else run into this happening to them?

Wait, what happened? As far as I was aware it was possible during the last update. Still got it on my "wait to play list", but if they pivoted away from the lesbian path I'd like to know so I can drop it.

I feel like it is only now that people might look at the tags, the dev has never had multiple endings. By all accounts, this is a kinetic story. There is an illusion of choice, but as has been noted above on several occasions, it often doesn't matter what you choose. This isn't a dig or criticism, the dev has never said otherwise, but if you want to go down a lesbian path - I'm sorry, but that isn't going to happen.
Unless of course, the dev jumps in here and states (This is still in EA and more choices will follow soon) which directly impact lesbian only paths - but I doubt it.

Hey!
It's been a few days since the update, so it's time for a few words from me and a little summary. As always, the feedback has been mixed—some people say things like "small update," "we waited so long for this," "where are the sex scenes?" or "this update brought nothing new."
Over the years of working on Visual Novels, I’ve learned one thing—people will always complain, and it will never be enough, no matter how much time, effort, and energy go into making them happy. Even a small update takes weeks or months of constant work—writing scripts, rendering, animating, coding, fixing issues—it’s not a quick process. And hiring artists who can maintain the required quality isn't an option, which is why it takes time. Every month, we put more hours into this project than we actually have, often at the cost of our personal lives.
...but I’m getting carried away—that’s not what this post was supposed to be about. Most of you expect an update to be packed with sex scenes, which makes sense since this is an adult game. But many people don’t understand the importance of writing, building tension, structuring the story, and weaving different plotlines together. SoD has a lot of fans (and just as many haters) precisely because we take this approach. Everything is planned—we know where we’re going and won’t change direction just because someone expected something different from this update.
As I’ve said many times, Early Access is about supporting the developer. If you’re going to complain after every update that it was smaller than expected, maybe just wait a year and a half for the full release—then you can judge whether it was worth it or just trash.
I tend to focus too much on negative comments, which is one of my flaws, but I also want to thank those who leave positive feedback. The people who understand that even non-animated scenes that aren’t in the replay gallery still matter because they connect to future scenes and upcoming updates.
That’s all I wanted to say—Adult Visual Novel means both "Adult" and "Novel." If you're only here for one part, you’re going to be disappointed.

well, in my opinion, there was actually quite a lot of content in the update, but it only seemed to be very little, because the content didn't drive the main story forward very much. the vr party part 2 alone would have taken a lot of time to make so great work dev(s)!
on a side note. one thing i would love to see, are more repeatable events/able to interact more. like the beach for example. that location has a lot of potential, at all times of the day

What is considered by a small update? A 15 min of the content, an hour? Im genuinely curious. Or is it the 2gb download but only 1 or 2 scenes? I'm not knowledgeable about the technical part of the development. Anyway, it seems that it bothers the dev when people don't bother to comment the story/characterization but only the game is valued for sex scenes! Good thoughts and, I believe, most would agree with you. I did find the update, at first, underwhelming, but afterwards put it in the context of story development. The only thing that sort of gnawed at me is if you were playing the corrupt path - she seems to have gone from semi-guilt/reluctance to full on “Don’t care getting my grove on.” Maybe it is just me, but found her thought process a bit jarring from last update to this one.

I see, in that case it's a drop from me. Not a dig from me either, just a byproduct of the tag system we use on f95. Since we don't have a "X only path" tags I have to rely on female protag + lesbian tag combo, which doesn't produce the desired results 98/100 times, or peeps in threads giving me relevant info, so I appreciate the information. Funnily enough I filter out kinetic as well, but alas that doesn't always help either.
