Hey!
It's been a few days since the update, so it's time for a few words from me and a little summary. As always, the feedback has been mixed—some people say things like "small update," "we waited so long for this," "where are the sex scenes?" or "this update brought nothing new."
Over the years of working on Visual Novels, I’ve learned one thing—people will always complain, and it will never be enough, no matter how much time, effort, and energy go into making them happy. Even a small update takes weeks or months of constant work—writing scripts, rendering, animating, coding, fixing issues—it’s not a quick process. And hiring artists who can maintain the required quality isn't an option, which is why it takes time. Every month, we put more hours into this project than we actually have, often at the cost of our personal lives.
...but I’m getting carried away—that’s not what this post was supposed to be about. Most of you expect an update to be packed with sex scenes, which makes sense since this is an adult game. But many people don’t understand the importance of writing, building tension, structuring the story, and weaving different plotlines together. SoD has a lot of fans (and just as many haters) precisely because we take this approach. Everything is planned—we know where we’re going and won’t change direction just because someone expected something different from this update.
As I’ve said many times, Early Access is about supporting the developer. If you’re going to complain after every update that it was smaller than expected, maybe just wait a year and a half for the full release—then you can judge whether it was worth it or just trash.
I tend to focus too much on negative comments, which is one of my flaws, but I also want to thank those who leave positive feedback. The people who understand that even non-animated scenes that aren’t in the replay gallery still matter because they connect to future scenes and upcoming updates.
That’s all I wanted to say—Adult Visual Novel means both "Adult" and "Novel." If you're only here for one part, you’re going to be disappointed.

I agree on what the Dev have to say, not all games should have sex scene. This is because is a visual novel adult game, it needs to have a perfectly balance story.

Take it from me, i prefer a long perfect storyline rather than just 2 updates and ended up fucking for no reason.

haters are gonna hate and gonna say many shit, that is what they do. People with many imagination, will understand the story.

So keep doing what you are doing dev and will always support your game.

The game is great. But I want to know how SWING can be done in Mike's bar. The developer has put himself in a maze. There is no room for a secret room.

Foxied will have to think hard about this point. Especially for players who chose the cheating route. After all, Mike can't know anything.

I totally agree. I have had experiences with adult novels and adult games that had a lot of sex scenes but the story didn't progress or the plot was bad.
It wasn't exciting for me and I got bored of it very quickly.
I think the developer should keep the standards and style that brought them to this point.
Don't let other things change the way the developer is going.
Exciting sex scenes should come with an exciting story.

Anyone else run into a problem where your Steam version doesn't show the new 4.1 update? I've uninstalled and reinstalled and also did a verification of files. Still, no update. :(
