Am I the only one who didn't like Zara before and now it's in the top 3?

Not that I disliked her before, but after her scenes in CH5 she moved from above average to my #3.
What we saw of her was *chefs kiss*
Sounds good. December, even January isnt so bad of a wait. Yeah my saves are junk so im doing a full replay. Cant wait.

I downloaded your ch.5 compressed version early on 25th October and I swear that the download I had, did not include the chapter 5, it was still only the 4.5. Saves stopped at the end of 4.5, even a speedrun from the start again stopped at the end of 4.5.
Which baffled me to no end, since you are one of our best compression makers and I never had problems with one of your compressions before!
But it was only after I added the chapter 5 only update, that I could advance with my saves to chapter 5.

Yes, there is your clue, the saves, you're the only one to have issues, out of the 1,000's who've downloaded it and the person who made the mod had no troubles either.

Not to burst your bubble, but Ocean said in the same dev log that WIAB Ch3 would be out this month. But subsequently in the most recent dev log he said he'll need a few more weeks for that and isn't sticking with the guesstimate. And since Ocean isn't exactly known for sticking to their guesstimates, don't hold your breath for a Dec/Jan SG Ch5 final just yet. It's still possible that it might slip a little.
I bet you would remind the teacher to collect everyone's homework a few minutes before the bell rang lmfao. Not everyone lives on F95 or obsessively reads every single post. You know damn well that no matter how often you try to play the mini tyrant mod to kiss ass to feel important, that people will never use search or scour pages and pages for info that may not exist and will skip straight to asking their questions, questions you are not forced to answer but go out of your way to reply to anyway only to complain about it lmfao.
Damn, well.. I guess I will find out how strong my willpower is in holding out before I just play the beta. And with my luck once I complete it the final version will be announced lmao.

No. She has been gaining popularity REALLY fast. No clue why though. She is still in my bottom 3 of the main LI's with Nia and Nadia.
I really despise arrogant people. And she is the embodiment of empty arrogance and confidence born from deep insecurity.

it's because in her initial scenes she really does come off as an arrogant and irritating person, but nowadays we understand the reasons for the way she is and feel more empathetic towards her... plus in the more recent updates she wasn't all that bitchy at all

I feel like a real clown rn, i just downloaded a 9 gb game for it to tell me that it has no fucking. What the fuck have yall been playing this for, i swear if i hear for the plot im losing it, masochists i tell you.

Yeah, that's the intention. You hate Zara because the game wants. Her arrogance and confidence is just a mask for her insecurity, that's what makes the character interesting. Her mother being a bitch and remembering her that she will never be enough, a big sister more inteligent, talented and gorgeous than her (Zara is more my type but that's the idea) and a father that wants a boy and not a girl makes her extremely insecure. That's why she needs to win, that's why she needs to fake confidence and that's why the MC, who treats her like an human being and show her what real confidence is breaks her mascara. The scene when you pass the basketball to her is one of the best scenes in the game because the MC doesn't even think about manipulate her like usual, but he tell exactly what Zara has needed to listen all her life: you are enough, I believe in you and you couldn't fail me ever if you tried (paraphrasing).
You can hate Zara if you only saw the first part of her character and presentation, but why she is so loved is obvious, the game show you how amazing she is and how she just needs love and kindness, and why she deserves that love and kindness. Oceans is amazing making complex characters, and Zara is just one of the best right now.
