I thought all you really had to do was change your region (in Steam itself) and the VPN wasn't as big a deal.

As another German: Works with GOG, but not with Steam.

It´s true. As a German myself i have zero chance to get adult games on steam, regardless of vpn usage. The only way to get them is via steam keys, aka relying on friends from abroad.

I'm german too and bought all my games on Steam. There's a way. All you need is a credit card.
