Just started playing this and my initial impressions are very good. I can't help but wonder why the dev chose to name the mother and sister character after sisters in one piece, especially when he kept the backstory. Wouldn't Bellemere make more sense to name the mother than Nojiko? I guess it doesn't matter, just seems weird. Also this emotionally closed off MC is an interesting twist. Usually when an MC in a porn game is an autistic asshole the other characters aren't quick to acknowledge what a fucking douche he is, this one is a lot more self-aware

I like playing games which DON'T feature incest. So how come, all of a sudden, I get a "patched" message at the beginning of Summer's Gone and the MC, Nami and Nojiko are brother, sister and mom all of a sudden? How can I "unpatch" the game so that these three are unrelated as before? Incest turns my stomach so can anybody tell me how to disable, remove or switch it off in Summer's Gone 3.5? As this game is featured on Patreon this MUST mean that a homemade patch was installed by somebody before the download was posted on f95zone. Please tell me how to get rid of it!

just search for and delete patch.rpy/rpyc, or zzz.rpy/rpyc, or similar files from your game folder.

I looked in the game folder and removed sg_typo_fixes_0.3f.rpy and sg_typo_fixes_0.3f.rpyc which were the only files there with those extensions and it worked! Many thanks!!! Injecting the incest trope into this particular game, my favorite game of all time on this site, would have ruined it for me and I think it's very wrong to patch games to alter them in advance without a player's consent.

Patreon doesnt allow incest, alongside few other kinks.
All those "incest" games are patched/modded, and devs can do a little to prevent that.
That is the case with this game also, and if there was "incest" in the very first release, it had to be patched.

If the game originated from Patreon/Subscriber it couldn't have explicitly contained incest originally because they don't allow developers/creators to post anything with incestuous content on their site for download: games with incest content on this site all have to be (or have been) modded to feign it to please people with that kink and not as they came originally from the developer/creator. I believe in choice and that people who want games pretending incestuous relationships exist between characters should apply patches to the original versions of games to alter them to make this happen, as a matter of choice on their part, and that the games themselves should be offered to those that don't want them modded as they come, unpatched and free from modification. I don't seek to impose my views on others and don't expect to have others to impose their kinks on me by modding games, in advance, without my consent, to force things like the incest trope on me artificially because it disgusts me, makes me sick and would ruin the game for me.

No idea. Technically, 3.5 is not out yet even, only the beta.
I'd say it is hard to tell. And I am expecting WIAB first version to be released before next SG. Unfortunately, I have no idea how advance that project is either.
