Do you mean the lewdpatch? I am using it, searching your posts in this thread and can't find anything about hotfixes for it so far or what those hotfixes fix for the patch. care to help a Nami simp out and share a link to them, please?

if you only want sex go play Ocean other game "Where It All Began " which is years before " Summer's Gone" the MC there already has a gf so it doesn't need relationship build up with her , therefore you have a sex scene right at the beginning. As for Summer's Gone , the dev always said that there will be sex scenes but since the MC is going through a trauma , it will be build up until he can surpass his trauma and advance to sex. "Summer's Gone" is more story focused , more realistic and deals with actual real problems . It is not made to be a "Sex VN" but " an adult VN where the story is the focus and the sex comes when it makes sense to come" and since the MC is slowly opening up and trying to let go of his trauma , it will eventually happen . Ocean isn't the only developer of adult novels that does this , for example " Leap of Faith" also puts the story first and sex only when it makes sense. I honestly prefer it this way , there is a lot of games where you can "beat one up" in this platform and you know what they all lack? A good story . I rather have a good story first , and sex scenes later than to have a bad story and too many sex scenes. Because for sex scenes there is a lot to choose here , but for good story, good renders and good animations there really isn't that much
We don't know yet - presumably a cop that shows up after whatever traumatic event transpired related to Summer's disappearance.
Sancho, sounds like Ocean needs to subcontract some tasking to you when it comes to coding. Maybe you could help take some of the load off of his task list when it comes to the game.

Correct, this is the first time I used mod for this game. Already started .4 and .45 from the scratch to see what was new and to refresh my memory. Saw posts that old saves don't work and not wanting to start fresh again, just downloaded first available walkthrough mod just to be able to fast forward the game. Then, I discovered that I could just start from .5 after answering few questions but didn't even attributed it to mod (thought that it was implemented by dev). Second poster asked if I used the mod and that is where all this came from. Sorry for the confusion, I used you mods before but wasn't aware that you made one for this game. There is only one mod option in OP.

Understood bud. I'm not wagging my finger at ya. Bummer about the VN's OP but I can't do anything about that. All I can do is let folks know they have options if they want them... doesn't matter to me at the end of the day their preference but they should be allowed to know what's available and what's best for their desire...it's the only reason I share my mods on this site tbh since I gain zero from doing it otherwise. Again, I wasn't scolding you, just setting the record straight so folks don't get confused further than the constant dev rewrites already are causing. Regards.

We PM each other. Ocean has hired coders before but they always fail the task and ghost. I'm not in a position to full time help any particular dev since I support so many behind the scenes via PM/correspondence. There's only so many hours in a day and I don't really plan on using them all up on a job when I'm basically retired at a semi-younger age (debatable). I have given all the main issues I find to Ocean and my suggestions privately so they are there for use as needed. Any VN I mod on I only want to serve the fans and have the VN succeed so of course I share my findings as a coder...and praises/frustrations as a fan.Sancho, sounds like Ocean needs to subcontract some tasking to you when it comes to coding. Pfft. I'm nobody bud...but I can fix the broken most times so we all can hopefully get what we want... remember I'm do this public release of work for VN's I'm a fan of otherwise I'd never bother and keep them all private. We float or sink in this boat together as fans.
This goes back to the original incarnation of Summer's Gone. The original story had:
The MC and a marijuana-smoking Summer get stuck in the cabin after dark. Nami reports them missing and Officer Larverne of the Police drives to the cabin to collect the MC and Summer and drive them home.
I assume at least some elements of the original story still apply. This will hopefully be resolved when the MC has a therapy session with Amber in the Cabin.
I have to be honest here, I really don't know what people are complaining so much about. Updates are slow, sure, but they are also big when they come out and the remakes constantly improve an already very high quality product.
Renders get better, the clunkier parts get fixed and become smoother and perfectly in line with the rest and characters get even more nuanced and interesting; glaring example is the addition of funny and even clumsy moments to everybody's favorite Bella, having small cracks appear in her flawless, stone facade which make her personality even more magnetic and her plight more endearing.
Besides the only ones who have a base for complaints are those who actively support the creator monetarily, the rest... not so much. Everyone is of course entitled to have their opinion and openly express it, but bellyaching about slow updates on a pirate site is laughable, I'm sorry.

What are you talking about? Because they want exactly this game, but with blackjack and hookers to their liking. Otherwise it shouldn't exists. They believe they have the entitlement to decide for everyone.

I see that there are some posts about the exceptions, but I find it weird that I'm experiencing more than ever before. Also, were there any changes to the relationship variables? In previous runs I found it easy to not engage with Bella. Now it seems to go through no matter what I do or say to Bella. Telling Nami I have no interest kills the path, but I'm getting the foot touch, and kiss when I didn't before. Even telling her aunt that Bella kneed the MC met with the text thanking him for not telling. Is this some sort of anti-pirate copy?
I think this is the only VN I've played that has this many gorgeous women and doesn't have the harem tag. The amount of eye candy in the game is unreal. I kind of wish I could go all Pokemon on them and catch them all, but most of them aren't even LIs. I guess I'll have to settle for having fifty different save files to cover all my bases in the future

Here is the thing, i would be more than stupid to throw money at him. Two games, four years and no considerable progress whatsoever. His Dev logs are basically always the sam excuses in different wording. You can be as gullible as you like, it's your money afterall, but not everyone throws common sense out of the window like many of the fangirls here or his patreons.
