I wouldn't recommend the wiki because there's a good amount of head cannon in there, iirc the only reference to this whole idealized body thing was a speculative comment from MC about why Alice and Michael still look the same
Actually during the SIN infiltration one of the SIN soldiers does comment that all the men do get buff and hot but complains that women tend to mostly get bigger tits and not the muscles. Tiffany also comments that her evolution made her tits get bigger and the MC speculates that its because she wanted them subconsciously. Other examples include Rina getting a lot younger but Nathan staying similar to his normal appearance. Met also doesn't change much and he had the same drugs Michael and Alice got. All of this points to superhumans getting to kinda getting some say over how they look. I suppose whether is unconscious or them actively picking is up for debate.

Side Note: afaik most of the wiki writers are in the forum so if you think there's something wrong or needs cites just drop it here. They're pretty responsive

That's not to say I don't agree with the earlier post about "idealized" in a Grecian statue secondary sexual characteristics sense rather than internal human sense. It's pretty obvious that guys "in general" get jacked and women "in general" get hot and that applies to monsters too since coded male monsters are buff but coded women monsters get the exaggerated sexual characteristics. But there is clear variability

Is it just me or does the Mc's liquid form look a little like the black ocean in the monster world? Do you think that has anything to do with Syla consuming 'bad things' and lowering her purity?
Hmm...it's possible. At the very least we know that the black water of the Monster World is alive as it actively avoided coming into contact with Amber.

Though we still don’t know what that water really is, only that it’s incredibly dangerous and most monsters and even Ella are terrified of it.

The closest comparison I can think of is dark water from that old 90’s cartoon, “The Pirates of Dark Water.”

Where's preview 8 from? Finished up to current patch and I don't remember seeing that. Is it from a bad end?
yup, in the battle of diamonds, you have to let the eye be born and be above a certain corruption, he also appears against cole id you have power and choose correctly. The walkthrough pdf will tell you how.

Just finished what is currently available and, just like the last time I played, I can't wait to see more. Doll Ella is much more tolerable than regular Ella, and I do feel for her knowing that she likely suffered greatly under Tanos and was our friend, but I still think the things she's done put her beyond redemption and she either needs to die (all versions of her) or be purged of her powers (doubt it's possible). That final battle in the monster dimension was awesome, especially when MC and Michael "fuse" together to fight the undying monster.

Edit: Also, not entirely related to the monster realm stuff, do we have any idea what or who exactly the shopkeep is? He can manifest in the monster realm and other realm, he seemed to know what Amber and Liz would become, could take a cow from one of our dreams, and has dealings with several superhumans. I know he's a very minor character, but he interests me.

We have no clue. Personally, I'm still wondering why he called the MC Charlie for so long. I can only assume there is some sort of unspoken connection between the two. The explanation has to make sense in a way that calling the MC Charlie isn't incorrect to do. So like... Charlie has some hidden familial relationship to the MC, like being a bastard that the MC's dad had behind Syla's back, or maybe that Charlie is a clone of the MC made by Tanos, but that explanation feels like it would be backwards (i.e. Charlie should be called MC by Shopkeeper). We've known Charlie for longer than basically any other SIN member, so clearly she's important, and she was the only one that showed up during the orphanage visit. Ella specifically made sure that she was aware of us, leading me to believe she understand the connection between the two of us.

My personal head canon says that the Shopkeep is the original God, the one whose individual elements were split into the Arbiters, and then those Arbiters were split into the Apostles. There's a lot of talk in MC's dreams about the Apostles being "God's X", so it stands to reason that there was originally just God, who, at some point in time, split into individual components.

I imagine the Shopkeep to work like how Withers from Baldur's Gate 3 would. Possible spoilers for BG3, but Withers was the original God of Death, but he gave away his powers to three individuals, who would become Bhaal, Myrkul and Bane. They're not a complete package, just aspects of Withers powers when he was the God of Death. And then Withers is there, in your party, making sure you succeed in your quest, which I see the Shopkeep doing the same.

This is all just my head canon, of course, and could be the complete opposite of what WeirdWorld wanted with the character.

Lmao imagine the guy who named MC Charlie, just ignoring it when shopkeeper called him the suggested name LOL.

When Charlie is talking to monsterfied Deryl about her family, it sounds like she grew up in a happy family environment. While she could have been Stephen's child and adopted by a good family, I am more inclined to believe that Stephen was estranged from his family, and joined the army to make a living, before joining HERO and meeting Syla. That would explain why the MC never talks about any other relatives besides his parents, since Stephen permanently cut them off from his life just like when Amber's told him to get lost, he did just that. So Charlie could be the Mc's cousin, and there might be an interesting story regarding why neither knew about the other.

Im sell to believe that Charlie has a blood relation with the MC, i mean he look far more akin appearence-wise to her than Oscar who was a behemot of a man with dark skin, not to mention that Met talked about various siblings, could be like a large foster family...that or their parents were very different and she and Oscar simply come looking totally like one without much of the other, has W.W even say if they are blood-related or adoptive?

"evolved to survive the harshest conditions" would look nothing like what a normal human
I beg to differ.
You don't need to be the quickest, have the largest claws or teeth to be perfectly adapted to most situation. You need to be a generalist with the ability to recontextualize what you have in regards to your surroundings. Guess what humans are good at.

It also helps that we're ridiculously good at killing things dead.

Honestly was expecting the Ella H-Scene in the new update when training with animal transformations to have beast transformation content in it, and now I'm kinda surprised that there isn't anything like that yet (Unless I'm forgetting something or I just missed a scene like that) I really love all the freaky ass Ella scenes and really want something like that now

There's a lot to be desired of what's on the wiki, grammar being the main one. Meme-ing (?) on the site in some places is also something that shouldn't have place on "wiki" of any sort, even if somewhat funny.

We would greatly appreciate it if more folks would point out stuff like this (well, primarily the grammar thing; lots of pages and few eyes on them).

Our team isn't that large, and we do have stuff of our own to do here and there.

So if people could leave a message on the page about what's wrong with it, it'd be much appreciated.
