I seem to remember that at some point Inatari clarified that as such the “first chapter” of the title refers to the fact that it is his first game and not that CotV is going to have a second part.
Although maybe I'm remembering wrong, but I do remember that at some point he said something about that.
Could also be following in the footsteps of many a series by simply maintaining a name even if the stories, setting, and characters do not carry over.
Why in the hell is there a big ass goblin in the main picture if the girls can't even phuck goblins, seems to me like a massive misadvertisement.
God forbid it tell a coherent, ongoing story where the goblins play a role at a later, crucial point in the narrative.
Also keep in mind that ryu is the one narrating the story so technically its not gonna end until he at least finds out whats going on, i think he even mentions in the narration that he also realizes that something is wrong with the village (probably finds out whats going on in the cave with the spirit or whatever) so we could be in for a part 2/chapter 2 perhaps after he finds out whats going on unless he plans on keeping it all on one part.

Goblins do not exist, they are the parents
The dark magic and the cave shit is all goblin magic, Enlai even keeps staring at that Anti-Goblin creature stuck on the tree couple of times. Dukall literally looks like the intro Goblin in the menu, kinda pointed all that out earlier in the thread too lol. I wouldn't be surprised if how the game begins is actually how Chapter 1 ends as a major plot twist. And Juvia somehow is in on it, she may as well be a female goblin with the green hair
Yes, I think that's obvious that will happen, but as they say I don't remember exactly if CotV will have two parts or just one.
I for now I bet that possibly if it is a game to finish with the story of CotV and Ryu, one thing that Inatari commented in Discord is that after the three main girls have sex, it will be easier to make the scenes and that his plan is that each update has at least 4 scenes (although I am not clear if for those 4 scenes he only counts the ones with CG or also counts the ones that are only with animated sprites).
Besides, each update comes with a good amount of story, so I might be able to finish the game without needing a second part.
But it could also be that we get to an update where Inatari decides to separate the game in two, then it would make a little more sense the first part and second part.

Personally I'm interested in seeing how the goblins are used more than when they show up. They've been a looming, largely uninvolved piece of stage dressing so far. They set up the scenario by introducing Marin to her new home and are a part of the world but they've been little more than an ongoing background concern and a reason for Ryu's father to be kept away from home. Unless the tomb beneath the village somehow involves them I don't much see the point in involving them directly in the events of the game. Maybe in the later stage the corruption really goes off the rails due to an impending attack so the men and women really start going at it while Ryu and his unit of soldiers take part in keeping the goblins away from the village, but I don't see them as an occupying force. Could easily be wrong, though.
I think the main reason why we still don't have anything about goblins is because let's remember that they were hunted to near extinction, the few that are left are taking refuge in deep caverns (I imagine with a couple of human women that they managed to take to mate with them).
So I think that nowadays it wouldn't make much sense for a goblin to come out of nowhere and say "Today I'm a goblin and I come to attack because I want to fuck human women" because that would set off everyone's alarms and they would go to finish once and for all with the goblins.
I agree that maybe, at some point during the second or third phase of the village corruption, we will see the goblins in action again, although it's still not clear to me how Inatari plans to use them.
If in the end the conspiracy theory that the antagonists are goblins disguised as humans, then it would make a little more sense to me to see Yui, Marin and the rest having sex with the goblins.
Although now that I think about it, what if the goblins are for one of the endings of the game, like Dukall the antagonists want to use them for something, but the goblins betray them and finish them off to keep the power, the women and enslave the remaining men?

The last WIP published on Patreon was already shared here, and at first the estimated release date for the update was the 20th, but in the last report Iantari said that he still has a couple of things to do and it will take a couple of days more, which means that the update should be released for patreons of 10$ or more between 25-30 of this month, for patreons of 5$ it will be released 5 days later and for the rest next month unless it is leaked.
P.S: Anyway, I imagine that tomorrow's report will definitely state the estimated release date, maybe Inatari has managed to advance work.

yes, Inatari said that, I understood it as that the next game will be in the same universe but in another place with other characters, we will find out in one or two years haha.
