we have a lot of garbage copycats that were immediately forgotten and a goodly number of projects that were little more than a gallery with a silly interface.

Sorry if this has been asked before, couldn't find it in the thread.
Occasionally, a girl with faulty papers will say something along the lines of 'Pleaselet me through', and a padlock will appear at the midpoint of the stressmeter.It looks like an attempt at sexual bribery, but I can't make it work. I've groped the girl, and stress continues to rise through the padlock. I've approved or denied passage, and she just leaves. Am I missing something?

if its padlocked, she's not going to refuse your advances even if the bar fills up, so free fuck afaik

Fantastic game, very fun gameplay with H scenes. Base game is great as-is, and the official (KG) translation is actually super smooth and easy to read.

Is there any mod that uses the official translation of the game as a base? I tried some of the mods that add a lot of content, but they're based on the old fan/MTL translated version and it's super, super rough unfortunately :/

So I tried to recreate and expand on it using AI:

To be totally upfront, it's very limited - I could really only recreate the essence of the game (setting, concept, etc.)

I tried to add more (e.g. gold, reputation, rank-ups, ability to set preferences, etc.) but right now the publicly available AI is just too dumb. It forgot 80-90% of what it was supposed to do, every time, and the only way I could make it stable and consistent was pulling it back to bare essentials.

If you like the core concept of gatekeeper though, you may enjoy it.

Searching f95 for "imperial gatekeeper" brings up a few threads mentioning the ones that are decent enough. I have no idea how to find any of the less good ones as they were just that forgettable.

Plans for next month

We will continue to work on “Yado Kakaegi”.

It's time to start working on the release of the trial version,

Check that it isn't muted, the system can sometimes think multiple rpgmaker games are just the rpgmaker engine and if you system muted one it may mute the others.

Ensure the game is installed somewhere you created like C:\HGames and not a system folder such as C:\'username'\downloads or an excessively long location like ...\Homework\seriously this is homework\stop looking\there is nothing to see\totally not porn\

This thing is just great. You have to put some effort into it to explore what you can do and figure out some fun ways to interact with its characters, but its a great example that "alive" and "believable" characters are far more important than good graphics and animations

The way it handles different character types and their reactions to your bullshit is out of this world. For example, - i was trying to make them show me their underwear by claiming that its actually an Emperor's order, and we only tolerate white underwear in our empire. Within 15 minutes session i had:

- Some shy chicks that actually comply because its an "official protocol" and nothing can be done

- Diplomats that tried to dodge the request by giving me tons of unnessesary facts about their race, like "Dragonkin women don't usually wear an underwear because it irritates the skin, anyway lets stick to the topic of my diplomatic mission...", while roasting the credibility of this "Emperor's order" in the process

- Fierce Warrior chick who actually knew the Emperor in person, and laughed into my face

- Powerful irritated mage, that opened a portal into her private chamber and bringed a set of white lingerie

- Innocent but strong-willed girl who was insisting that this request will make her impure so hard that i had no choice but to let her pass

- Some elven princess who requested to change the Empire's laws because she don't want to comply with this bullshit

The variability and believability of this characters is insane. This is the problem i had with all IG clones out there - the developers don't usually bother to put enough effort into making the characters alive and interesting.

If you will be able to put this skeleton into an actual game, like add the progression, some storyline, maybe some penalties for "too extreme" behavior, and maybe some frame for player's actions (for example making the player choose between 3-5 dialogue options while interacting instead of just typing), this will be the greatest game ever
