I guess people hate her for the lifetime of lying? I see her as just as much of a victim as MC. She was raised in a cult. That'll fuck you up. I find it hard to hold that against her.
Honestly the thing 2 things that made me on Kaija's side yeah some will say she is doing her job or whatever. But that doesn't matter to me. Was how she saved the MC as well as how on the love path she fought to not be his girlfriend initially because it was ordered of her.

Altough my main save is currently Kaija and Medb, it was a shame to see Finnbair pass, after spending time with her at the lake. I just hope the same doesn't happen to Kari after spending time with her at the apartment. And as a side note Lady Nimue is almost identical to the same Lady Nimue in LoM.
You can solve that, reload and kill her asap. So she will suffer less!

So honestly folks, there is not a single good reason why Kaija should even be mentioned
Well, someone has to cut Finn's throat in case the MC is chickens out to finish the job in a sword duel. But in general, you're right, Kaija should be unavoidable, without any mentions or choices.

I can think of only one thing that could perhaps redeem Kaija to my eyes: after MC sent her a message she called telling everything was a mess and MC insisted her telling him where she was and she said she was in Neverwhere. She also said she would talk to him as soon as she came back. Was she inclined to reveal everything to him by herself or was she sure that templars would reveal everything soon? If it was the first she would have act against the order but in favor of MC. It's not clear what is the case here. But if it was the first it could have redeemed her in my eyes.

This is one of those things that differs based on which path you're on, but on her love path she's actually already defied the order some by abandoning her mission and disobeying a direct order so she can instead save MC from mercs.

On her non-love path, she was instead ordered to do that by one of the council.

That's one example of why when discussing Kaija it's really important to specify which version you're taking about, because her actions and motivations can be very different and really change her character.

In this love version where she mentioned Neverwhere, do you think she as preparing for further disobeying and tell the truth to MC ?

It would not surprise me at all if on the love path she becomes a bit more disillusioned with the Templars and shifts closer to neutrality with MC.
