So I played this demo and then went back to the OG Third Crisis to refresh my memory.... This new prequel is a noticeable upgrade. really high quality stuff. well worth a try. my only complaint is there wasn't more content

Look this demo is great, but let's not go that far to suck them off. No updates since November and, like most devs, paywalling access to news about updates. Idk about others, but while paying to subscribe for demo releases is at least acceptable, paying just to know what the fuck I'm paying for is inexcusable, and yet it's becoming the standard.
They already have precident with their previous game. I'm not saying to subscribe monthly for the 5 years it takes to get completed
I'm simply acknowledging it's in the top 0.1% of pornographic games and the team deserves renumeration for their work.
Your point about "paying just to know what hte fuck I'm paying for", makes no damn sense when it has a free demo.
I think he's being reasonable. There are hundred million dollar plus games out there, as in eight zeros, from established studios which have absolutely bombed out or turned out so incredibly mediocre that they're not worth playing and that's from hundreds to thousands of veteran developers who know what they're doing. Out of regular game dev land, 3-4 years at a studio is pretty average, people change jobs, take up more promising offers, life happens, etc. A lot can happen. There are no guarantees.
In porn land, how many times have you seen a promising game just disappear into the void, or see minimal to no progress over years? All the time right? There's a lot of hype Neon Nights, which is understandable, but remember Erokin?
He's not saying pirate the game, or that the developers shouldn't be remunerated, just that its kind of insane to pay for status updates and as someone who pays for games, I agree.

They aren't going to have battles like the first game, they said the community didn't really like it so it's scrapped for this one. could change though

Excellent, Third Crisis had dog crap combat and it didn't elevate the experience at all, just focus on fun puzzles, interesting set pieces and multiple paths.
