Updated my compressed Android port of Uni to v0.58.121.

Got some basic gestures loaded in: swipe up for save menu, swipe down to hide UI, swipe left to rollback and swipe right to skip. Save files are now stored in the Documents folder. This sometimes means that you may need to close and re-open the port after installing so the save folder is properly created.

Please let me know if you encounter any issues with the ports and I'll see what I can do to get them sorted.

I understand that feeling well, we can only develop as fast as our budget allows. And it's on me for not keeping control of scope creep early on.

Still, now that the bulk of the complexities (the spider web of choices and consequences) are finished we can focus on the main routes for the characters, which is significantly faster since we don't have to account for all the other routes you could be on. We'll get this finished. So many other projects I want to make.

I recall one a while back that was an issue, but it's been fixed.

Should be in the "saves" folder in your install directory. Otherwise check your appdata/roaming/renpy for "uni2-saves"

I looked for a 'saves' folder in the directory and I didn't see one. Can you tell me the file path?

I have saves in renpy, but (sometimes) when there is an update in renpy games, you initially need to put them with the game files or they just wont see them (in my experience), but then after doing that they will still save to roaming/renpy. It's weird but that's what I usually do to solve issues between version saves.

Even though I move saves to the new game, and even though I have played the new version we were told to play so all saves worked, I still get the message that my saves are from an old version. But they are not. Is it finding something somewhere that returns and 'old' to trigger that response? I really liked this game, but after having to replay it 2 extra times for updates, I have just kind of given up (but not quite, given this message). Anyone else having this difficulty?

I think it just puts a flag in the save and shows that warning just in case; I don't think I've had too many issues just playing older saves in the newer versions. Maybe a couple years ago, when they did some background changes, but not recently.

Not ALL CG Scenes are optional, but all routes are.

Like drdeath4h said it's primarily a warning letting you know that the save is from a different version of the game. If you encounter an error screen referencing a variable or something then the save is likely the issue. When you first start a new game that save game will carry the version of the game you started the play through on, and when you load the save the game checks if the current game version is the same version that you started that save on. If not, you get a warning.

Basically what can happen is if we add a variable to a route that takes into account a choice you made earlier on but your save is after were that choice is then you'll either get an error when the game goes to check that variable or you'll get a scene/dialog that isn't consistent with your choice.

Best example would be the Cheer Club Beach Trip which takes into account a lot of the early game choices.

Why do some people want and ask for Violet and Matt hookup?? Violet is like super lesbian and only into Chelsea it wouldn't make any sense at all for her to do anything with Matt (besides kicking his ass because he's a scumbag).
Now that she's won the poll we can finally have some nice yuri and lesbian sub/dom stuff again.
I hope Hizor won't change her character entirely to suddenly be interested in guys and want to hook up with Matt of all people.
