Just whore Violet out a bit in her Sub route.

And the fact that you can actually treated her harshly like a slave instead of "Roleplaying slave" and she still fully obeyed you, making the scenario where Matt will get his hand on Violet with the help of MC is like a matter of time, that's why when seeing Violet suddenly turned into a bossy character again on that conflict scene, and instantly turned into very submissive slave right after that, doesn't makes sense and very anti climatic.

This game is pretty dark especially on Matt path, where he can rape and blackmailed MC using it to make her submit to him, so seeing another dark path on Matt path but now with Violet, is just pretty normal and kinda expected too lol

The reason Violet drops the Sub dynamic in that scene shows how the Matt scenario would never happen though. As it shows that she is fine being bossed around and submissive consensually with someone she likes but should it go too far, or someone be in trouble like in this instance she will not hesitate to stop it and do what is needed to fix the scenario. This isn't even a one time out of character action as she also will come and save Chelsea in the bathroom from Kenzie and be very dominant over them there no matter if she's sub or dom as again she drops the dynamic as her and Chelsea's safety and well being is more important to her then her role as your Sub. Her and Chelsea are both fully consenting and in a dom sub (yet still romantic) relationship. Violet is not actually Chelsea's slave, and the scene with Matt show's even as a Sub she has her limits and will stop things if she's truly uncomfortable just like a couple would use a safe word if things went too far.

As for Matts content being dark, it is, on Matts path and for Chelsea (the player), if the player consents to those actions happening to Chelsea. His involvement in other routes is a villain who takes Chelsea away because his methods are a lot more sinister and he enjoys the other person being sad Chelsea is fucking him, unlike other conflicts where both sides are sad Chelsea is cheating on them. In the scene with Kate he has her watch him fuck Chelsea and does nothing with Kate. Just because his conflict events involve him getting sexual with Chelsea and his route has dark themes doesn't mean he should just appear in every other route because he can. By that logic why isnt he raping Kate in the alleyway, having a gangbang with the cheerleaders or banging Damien's mum as well in his route to fuck with him. If we do go by this then Matt suddenly needs to weasle his way into every route and fuck everyone which I don't think even the Matt fans really want. The team gets accused enough of Matt being the favourite character as is (which isn't true btw).

And if Matt got blackmail material on Violet, it best damn well include material on her dad or Matt will find himself and his mum in incredibly hot water very quickly. For threatening Chelsea Violet threatens Matt with destroying his Mums life and livelihood so if he had something on Violet it would just be a stalemate of release that and your Mum will be homeless by the weeks end.

Hizor has already said here and on the discord that Matt and Violet scene will never happen outside of a non cannon dream sequence (which that dream sequence itself is incredibly unlikely to ever be made) and doesn't fit the character. I'd highly recommend if some people really want this so badly to just make a few scenes as a mod that people can add into the game if they want. The game has a modding guide and is very intuitive and straightforward to create and add modded content and even add it in to the event pool to be triggered randomly or under certain circumstance while playing naturally. There's even a channel in the official discord where people will help if you need (I'm more then happy to help on there myself). Plus it would just be awesome to see more mods for the game. This way it doesn't effect or ruin the character for anyone that doesn't think it makes sense or fits for Violet to have a scene like that (the devs included).

So, I've reached a point that looks like its probably leading to a good ending on the Victoria route, but she just stopped showing up after saying she was going to talk to her parents. Is this unfinished content or is my game bugged?

That is the end of Violet's route for now. I had thought we had a "you've reached the end of this route" message, but apparently we did not.

Adopted the cat and the landlord was cool with it too. It's adorable to see it watching the news in the living room, ngl. Wish there were more interactions with it though.

Re: Jobs / Money
On a separate note, the FMC in the current game might wind up with having money issues soon. With rent and cat food alone, I figure about $700 is needed in the month. However, the FMC in this run is a good, strong-willed, and wholesome type of character. She stood up for herself and quit the bakery job after refusing to tolerate any more abuse and took the convenience store job that Nathan suggested. That job, however, simply doesn't pay enough at a little over a hundred bucks per work week. That will be far short of the $700 mark even without any other expenditures. There doesn't seem to be a way to look for another steady, above-board job currently in the game. (At least I haven't found anything in the thread about it.) Will this character (without using the in-game money cheat) have no other recourse than to find "alternative" means of income down the line? If so, that seems unduly punishing.

Edit: Hizor Oh, that reminds me. There were couple of bugs I've run across. Most were benign and infrequent such as the rare typo, or oddly inconsistent event progression -- like characters being referred to without first meeting them, or the UI disappearing after interacting with the computer (I have a save at this spot if needed), or text getting rolled back despite the rollback side being disabled in preferences -- this one is hard to replicate. However, an easy one to correct is the cat food price. Before getting the other cat items, the cat food price is listed as $50 on its icon but should only be $25 just like how it's displayed on the menu selection (without the other cat item icons) once the player has bought the scratching post and cat bed.

Regardless, this is a fun game with nice, three-dimensional characters with wonderful art and great writing! I've been enjoying it a lot -- just like many others, I'm sure! Looking forward to seeing more of what's to come! Cheers!

There won't be any more interactions with it, but it's there!

Later on there will be a "raise" event similar to what the cafe has if you stick with them. We should be adding it in rather soon likely in the next update.

These bugs are very interesting,especially the U.I bug. Send the save and as much information you can about the other bugs to [email protected]

I'm very glad to hear that you've enjoyed what we have in the game so far. We still have a long ways to go, but it's going much faster now that we don't have to account for all the other routes in the game, and still seems to be cause of issues due to world states the player can be in.

I immediately know the issue with the cat products pricing and we'll get that fixed.

As I've mentioned before a Matt x Violet scenario would need to be it's own entire route for it to work in a way that would be satisfying and make sense overall. So we won't be adding it outside of a dream sequence we might do near the end of 1.0s development.

I'm part of the dev team and just wanted to give a bit more insight as to the reasoning behind why that sort of scene doesn't fit from our perspective is all. It is a porn game but we really try to make the characters feel like they have their distinct personalities and are believable as people with their own limits (to an extent, gotta keep it fun still of course). We care and are passionate about the game just as much as if it had porn in or not.

Honestly it's great to see people enjoy the game so much that they so passionately want more, sadly without either scope creeping like crazy or completely altering the characters personalities and what they would and wouldn't do (which personally I think takes away from one of the games core strengths) we can't include every scene that everyone would want or find hot. As I said in my previous wall of text, more then happy to help anyone in making a mod to include it as non official content though.

Got onto the computer during "Night". When attempting homework, and perhaps the online game as well, I think the game wanted to send a message that it's too late for that which inadvertently removes the UI. Interestingly, you can continue playing after sleeping, but the game is basically broken from then on, iirc. Save attached below.
